I'm not a huge fan and I did watch her tv show and found it extremely boring and switched off.

But I do wonder why people on here hate her so much.

Is it because she used to do Page 3?

Used to be a party girl?

Has 4 children with 3 different men?

If it's for any of those reason then that makes someone a very judgmental person really ...

I don't think people on MN do hate KP....Pete seems to be the one who is hated.

I find KP really hard to like. There are things about her I admire, but I don't find her likable. Don't hate her though...feel sorry for her sometimes, yes.

She is a self promoting media persona. And as such I have little time for her. I totally disapprove of her and the way she behaves.

Katie Price has created a successful business brand.
If I knew her personally, I'd have an opinion. But I don't know her, so I won't offer an opinion.

Her media image however is looking jaded of late. As mentioned upthread it's been recycled too many times now. Perhaps she needs to look to the queen of rebranding and do a Madonna earth mother/spiritual moment. We all bought that one for a short while at least :)

She had a go at Jade for selling her story when she was diagnosed with cancer.

Katie Price who was in the press about her "cancer scare" due to a lump on a finger.

And then of course she got to publicly bury the hatchet and fly home for an emotional last visit to Jade.

Because of course, if she's not the centre of attention all the time...

She is unlikable. Everything she does has an air of insincerity about it.

And she called Kelly Brook a heifer. A perfectly normal sized woman.

Why is there so much hatred towards Katie Price?

Because she is a professional controversialist whose revenue streams depend on her polarising people.

I am avoiding the Daily Fail on the internet at the moment, so clueless to this weeks love interest.

I don't see what there is to like about her.

I don't think she comes across particularly well in interviews, she seems quite rehersed and cold.

She appears to sneeze purely to get on the cover of a magazine, and her marriages just come across as a publicity stunt.

And um...she looks like a duck she's had so much lip plumping, in my opinion.

Apparently she is also a talented horsewoman. She was very sweet to my daughters when she signed copies of her pony books for them at an equestrian event they attended.

It's not just this forum. She appears to be hated around the internet.
She is a professional hate figure. I'm sure she doesn't care as she laughs her way to the bank.

I think hawking her children around for her reality shows was pretty scummy. Other than that she is a z-list cartoon celeb really. I would have assumed she'd retired if magazines like closer were not displayed near the supermarket checkout. Although that's sort of pension plan isn't it - squeeze the last few quid out while you can.
