To ask him to wait 15 minutes before I get out of the bath

I'm pretty certain I was but the PMT demon on my shoulder keeps trying to convince me I wasn't....
I am going for a bath, I ask DH if he needs the toilet, he says he does not. He knows I like to bathe for a reasonable amount of time so "Do you need the toilet?" means, now or will you it he next 30 mins. He says he doesn't.

I run my bath and set up the latest Bkack Mirror on the iPod to watch. 10 minutes in he comes in, "how much longer have you got in there?" he needs the toilet and would like me to get out. He says you can just pop back in once I'm finished.

I'm pissed off because I asked and his digestive system is such that he knew when I asked he would need to go. He just thought he might be able to hold it. (just go! I asked if you needed to go, that is the time to go!) He takes ages and it would take at least 10 minutes for the air quality to return to breathable standards.

I'm really pissed off so I tell him I I'll get out when the show is over. I asked if he needed it, he said no, knowing he probably would actually- live with the consequences.

I sat through the rest of the show feeling v.guilty.

So WIBU? (I think I was, his puppy dog eyes make me think I was, or at least a bit mean.)

Well if he knew that he needed to go before you got in the bath, I'd have made him wait.

But I find it odd that if he needed the toilet that badly he couldn´t have gone whilst you were in the bath.

Although it sounds as if you wouldn´t have wanted him to anyway.

Although tbh, I don´t get "long relaxing baths", so I guess the whole thing is lost on me...

YANBU, lock the door and tell him to go to a supermarket or garage and use one there, nothing should interrupt a long bath!

I would never ever drop a missile in front of DH but hey, I have no problem with him dropping one whilst I am in the bath......and we do have 2 loos!! Actually, it is not so much DH but DS, as soon as I go in the bath it seems to get his bowels moving :)

Mind you, I don't go in the bath unless I have at least 1.5 hours to spare!!
