I am FASCINATED by it.

Its got loads of little bits of my face on it. I can't stop looking at it. That's not weird at all, is it.

threeineachlobe I think you are on to something there! I can just see Not On The High Street selling little engraved pewter tins for the products of squeezing, plucking etc. I could keep those really long, coiled ingrown hairs that I have to dig out with a pin in one, or my especially big and satisfying tonsil stones. Oh! Oh! And the waxy cheese that I can squeeze out of my ear piercings when I haven't worn earrings for ages!

threeineachlobe · 21/02/2013 21:31

Riffy - if that hadn't made me feel a little bleugh it'd be genius.

I know I started all this, but waxy cheese??

MrsRambo · 21/02/2013 22:36

I have to thank my DP for the most amazing pore strip results. The first time he allowed me to strip his nose pores.... Oh my goodness. I had a little forest of dense spikes on the strip. It was incredible. Like nothing I had ever seen before. I kept it for ages and would look at it in different lights and brush by fingers against the array of spikes . He was pretty intrigued too. Now I do it at 3-6 months intervals and we both eagerly await the results. My pores just don't produce the same excitement levels... Shame.

I also look at other blokes noses' and wonder about what might be harvested from them with a Biore strip...

Yes, gone too far now ... might possibly need help....

WifeofPie · 21/02/2013 22:39

thebody - a friend of mine found a few years ago. It's totally gross & fascinating at the same time.

Not for the faint-hearted!!!

MooseBeTimeForCoffee · 22/02/2013 03:30

Fluffy should I even bother asking how you find faecal pus filled bits on people's lower extremities? Do people crap on their feet?

Longdistance · 22/02/2013 03:42

I love the Biore strips. I have the chin ones too Grin

Love seeing the results, and it's a bonus if I find a dark one.

ripsishere · 22/02/2013 04:09

I want to know about make it at home blackhead strips. I live in Malaysia and I don't think I've ever seen them here.
Strangely, me and DD were talking about skin care this morning. she wants a face pack when she gets home from school.
I had a sudden flashback to a craze at school. Get some honey, spread it thinly on your dry face, leave it for five minutes or so then put your hands over the area and pull back.
It removes all the yuck. The only drawback is missing the forest of sebum.

ripsishere · 22/02/2013 04:12

Right, Google is my friend. It seems gelatin and milk are what we need to buy later on. The lack of microwave can be overcome with a saucepan and gas!

louwn · 22/02/2013 07:37

Biore ones are amazing- do people get them in the £ shop then? Got mine from boots but if I can get them cheaper....

bedmonster · 22/02/2013 09:36

I have ordered one of the scraper tools and will get strips today. I don't think I even have any blackheads!
