I am FASCINATED by it.

Its got loads of little bits of my face on it. I can't stop looking at it. That's not weird at all, is it.

I've tried the sellotape. It doesn't work. Sad But to be fair I am not a massively blackheady person so maybe others have had more success. Iknow I should be grateful for this fact, but sometimes I just crave some actual sebum action, and an empty nose pore strip is up with among the top ten of life's great disappointments.

I agree OP, I could stare at those little teeny weeny face-gunk stalks for hours. They are like miniature trees on a miniature landscape.

Annianni · 21/02/2013 19:25

I saw a thing on pinterest on how to make a giant one, for your whole face.

If/when ds2 falls asleep, i'll look for a link.

Annianni · 21/02/2013 19:34

It's on www.petitelefant.com
How to pore strips.

RudolphLovesoftplay · 21/02/2013 19:52

These sound awesome Smile where do I purchase such a wonderous item? Is there a good brand that works best?

bedmonster · 21/02/2013 20:00

I haven't ever used one of these before, I will buy some tomorrow! Am very excited

PomBearWithAnOFRS · 21/02/2013 20:12

Ladies - watch thee for the next time there's a nice juicy pustulant thread - we even post pictures and videos and go into great and lengthy detail and everything Grin and there are lots of us so we can ignore anyone who goes green and whinges doesn't want to join in Grin

MisForMumNotMaid · 21/02/2013 20:21

I feel sadely morneful for the first time my Dsis and I did these together with fantastic results perfect rows of little standing ???? What do I call them?

Subsequent strips have never quite produced the imense satisfaction of that first time Sad

MadBraLady · 21/02/2013 20:22

Rudolph I find there are only two branded products worth buying in life - Fairy liquid and Biore pore strips. No other pore strips I've ever tried work as grossly well. They are the most £££ though.

I love those random horrified incomers on the sporn threads. They don't know what they've got into...

bedmonster · 21/02/2013 20:28

Biore you say. Will I find these in sainsburys?
What are the sporn threads - curiously/grossly fascinated now!

ElectricSoftParade · 21/02/2013 20:30

I stocked up with Biore strips at the Pound Shop today. I love these strips so very much

I also love the way you get some bigger bits than others and find I keep going back to the strip to check them and do colour comparisons. I am not in any way ashamed of this although realise it is a bit disgusting.

RiffyWammal · 21/02/2013 20:33

I have a fantastic Tweezerman blackhead extractor tool - you drag it over your skin and it MOWS the crap out like a combine harvester. I like to let loads build up before I wipe it on a tissue, then I inspect it for ages.

I also have this really thick eyebrow hair, it's like it's got sides to it and there is more than one strand coming from the one root; it's really tricky to get out in one piece as it becomes ingrown or snaps off like a piece of wire and I then have to wait ages for it to grow long enough to grab with the tweezers again. When I do manage to pluck it out in one piece, juicy black root an' all, I can never bring myself to throw it away. I always wipe it on the bathroom mirror so I can proudly inspect it again later if the need arises.

MadBraLady · 21/02/2013 20:33

Shock They do them in the £ shop?

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

ElectricSoftParade · 21/02/2013 20:36

Now that Tweezerman tool sounds very good. I also have similar hairs to the one you describe Riffy, only my hairs are on my chin.

FanFuckingTastic · 21/02/2013 20:44

Need a Tweezerman! And I raise Ped Egg after a hot bath... all that smooshy dead skin. Mmmmm!

BubbyBum · 21/02/2013 20:47

I have had to come out of lurking to express my relief / joy that I'm not the only one!

GazpachoSoup · 21/02/2013 20:52

Ewwwwwww. Oh, and ewwwwwww again.

eagerbeagle · 21/02/2013 20:54

Linky to the tweezerman tool please.

I want one

Thanking you

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 21/02/2013 20:57

Fluffy you've sucessfully lowered the tone there Grin

What about those cryptosis where you slide a scalpel in and produce a huge nail splinter. Even better if there's pus and no blood Wink

I bought some of those strips for my DS. Just started to get the hormonal skin now.

KatoPotato · 21/02/2013 21:01

The tweezerman hook is sublime! Plop plop plop plop plop... Wipe onto loo roll. Inspect!

I do enjoy a good strip haul, bend the strip and undulate it to watch the little lads do a Mexican wave!

KatoPotato · 21/02/2013 21:02

www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00018TMP0/ref=mp_s_a_1?qid=1361480531&sr=8-5&pi=SL75

I got mine in boots.

Nikced · 21/02/2013 21:06

OMG I googled Tweezerman blackhead extractor tool.
Just lost 30 mins of my life watching interesting, then ok, then bad, bad videos on YouTube 'Vikram' seems to own most of them.

The bodyshop sells them, which is what I was originally googling for Grin Blush

guffaw · 21/02/2013 21:07

..just come u after fainting @ fluffy, then hit the deck again @ 70isa.. now bowing out so I can eat my chocolate raisins and keep 'em down Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 21/02/2013 21:11

I don't use a scalpel for them, I have my speshul nippers for that. Saw a brilliant case of dry gangrene today though. Poor bugger.

I have a tweezerman tool too (home use obv), sometimes dh let's me do his blackheads.

Honestly, you'd all love podiatry.

threeineachlobe · 21/02/2013 21:13

Still haven`t thrown it away. I may never throw it away.

DC have got boxes for their old baby stuff, school stuff, certificates etc. I may need to create a box for me to hold such wondrous delights.

RiffyWammal · 21/02/2013 21:13

Yes that's my Tweezerman tool, thanks Kato!

I find it works best when I've steamed my pores open first.

BubbyBum I came out of long-time lurking for this thread too. Smile
