Ambu to be slightly piddled orf because they are wont be selling huggies nappies in the UK and Ireland anymore and eerm didnt tell anyone, shouldnt they have at least put it on the packages. I've spent tons trying to find a nappy which suits my LO finally found one and they wont be making them.

Asda little angels all the way, here.

I missed this story too. Another lidl convert here. Much better than pampers and Huggies. ALDI ones are good too.

Birdsgottafly · 14/02/2013 22:01

OP if you have any discount type shops near you, try there, huggies are filling the shelves of "Branded Bargains, B&M and Discount UK" where i live.

Cheers Miaow (although sorry to hear about the SPD Hmm) and minibmw. Will check them out.

AmandaPayne · 14/02/2013 22:38

It's only a nappy brand. Never used them, but honestly disposable nappies are not that different and babies change shape all the time.

Carless - possibly not what you want to hear, but moving to reuseables is what worked for us. Other than that, try eco brands, as they seem to have different chemical (or possibly lower concentrations or whatever) and seem to cause less irritation.

Sainsburys Basics nappies are surprisingly good for £1.50.

JugsMcGee · 14/02/2013 22:43

I found them leaky when DS was a newborn but now they are the only brand that will hold his night wee. Not even my cloth nappies can contain it. Not sure what we'll do.

sausagesandwich34 · 14/02/2013 22:48

I found either the Asda or Aldi ones are better than the big brands

and much cheaper too Grin

Is it just the nappies that are being withdrawn, or the wipes as well?

We use pampers for nappies but Huggies for the wipes as they don't take as much polish off the tables don't make DS red raw like the pampers wipes.
