Ambu to be slightly piddled orf because they are wont be selling huggies nappies in the UK and Ireland anymore and eerm didnt tell anyone, shouldnt they have at least put it on the packages. I've spent tons trying to find a nappy which suits my LO finally found one and they wont be making them.

According to the email I recieved, they will still be doing the wipes.

I love the ones that smell like cucumber. :o

willesden · 14/02/2013 20:46

YANBU. I had no idea. It seems I am not the only one to have a life away from the interweb Wink

Sokmonsta · 14/02/2013 20:48

Yabu. I signed up to their club with my first. I had an email.

ThedementedPenguin · 14/02/2013 20:48

I don't like Huggies, they didn't suit my ds.

However, I got at least 4 emails from them saying they are leaving the uk. It was also on mn.

I missed this Sad will be bulk buying now.

carless · 14/02/2013 20:51

Oh bollocks, my dd has had an awful bleeding rash after every other brand I've tried.

Is this why they have been weirdly cheap with great offers and theirwipes even in the poundshop?

HollyBerryBush · 14/02/2013 20:53

Huggies were the only decent nappy on the market 18/17 and 13 years ago.

Crawling · 14/02/2013 20:53

Carless my ds was the same Sad

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 14/02/2013 20:54

Well, they're shit in our experience so that's fine. Gavel!

carless · 14/02/2013 20:56

has anyone else found a brand that helped with nappy rash left after using other brands? Sainsburys were ok but I'm doing a personal boycott of them and really would rather not , pampers and tesco nappies left her raw

RubyGates · 14/02/2013 20:57

Another vote for Lidl's own here.

ThedementedPenguin · 14/02/2013 21:02

I use asda's little angels. I find they are fantastic.

JambalayaCodfishPie · 14/02/2013 21:03

Asda had the huge boxes 2 for £14 in their baby event, in order to get rid of them all. You might find there are still some on the shelves in some stores at that price?

Otherwise, can I recommend Pampers 'Simply Dry' - their value nappy. Orange box, £9.00 for 80.

Blatherskite · 14/02/2013 21:03

Huggies always fitted my DCs perfectly. I swapped to Aldi ones a few months before DD potty trained and found them to be even better - really soft, no leaks and about half the price.

AyeOopMoose · 14/02/2013 21:06

We used Huggies newborn to size 4 and then switched to Asda own brand-v v good.

Lidl are also good-use them when we go on holiday (as they are available in EU)

Tried lots of others but didn't suit DD. Pampers were the worst and gave her terrible nappy rash.

ImKateandsoismywife · 14/02/2013 21:14

Huggies are shit, stiff and leaky!

I love aldi nappies, under £5 for a pack of 56 and no leaks or rash Smile

MyBalletShoes · 14/02/2013 21:14

I know MiaowTheCat has said the wipes, pull ups and little swimmers will still be sold but on the subject of swimming nappies, if Huggies seem to be generally rubbish, what does everyone use? I've only found Huggies, as a brand, do them so hope they do continue the swimming ones!

Fakebook · 14/02/2013 21:19

I had no idea! Good job too because they're the shittiest nappies ever created.

iremembertypewriters · 14/02/2013 21:24

The nappies never fitted either of my DC's so they won't be missed. The wipes are bloody awful. I occasionally buy them when they're on special offer and always regret it. They are really hard to pull out of the pack and then they just disintegrate. Huggins wipes always make me swear Blush

Love huggies wipes, hate their nappies though! They seemed fine for my girl years ago and bought them for my boy a couple of years ago and they were pure shit, had to change all his clothes at least 3-4 times a day, I threw the rest of the nappies in the bin, wouldn't have given them to anyone I know as I didn't want to inflict their shittiness on them

minibmw2010 · 14/02/2013 21:38

Boots do a great Swim nappy
