(lighthearted)

I'm talking about Leonardo DiCaprio. I could understand, sort of, why girls thought he was cute 15 years ago. I always thought he was too baby-faced and boyish and figured maybe he'd improve with age.

Only he hasn't, really. He's never really grown up. he just sort of ages and goes squidgy around the edges of his teenage face. He's like one of those supermarket pears that goes from unripe to rotten without ever being good to eat.

It's weird, isn't it??

Grin at comparing him to a pear.

I live Leo in Titanic and I though he was good looking in Catch Me If You Can.

Doesn't he have a beard now or is that Brad Pitt?

Brad Pitt is like a rotten pear Grin

The bath scene makes me sob every time. And the birthday party when he sees Gilbert.

The only reason I watched it the first time was to perv at Johnny Depp, I hadn't really heard of it. I was not expecting it to be such a roller coaster!

Right, can we stop with the derogatory remarks about pears please. I am offended.

OP you are spot on. He was a teenage dream in Romeo and Juliet, now just a squidgy mess. I've noticed this in real life. The best looking youngsters often don't turn into the best looking men.

I think his face always looks puffed up now. Doesn't help that his eyes are small and narrow and too close together.

I remember when he was "all the rage" in the Titanic days, the newspapers were full of the fact that he looked like the young Norman Lamont.

As *WandaDoff" says, that seems to have been spot on.
