to think there's something creepy about a middle-aged man who never left puberty?

(lighthearted)

I'm talking about Leonardo DiCaprio. I could understand, sort of, why girls thought he was cute 15 years ago. I always thought he was too baby-faced and boyish and figured maybe he'd improve with age.

Only he hasn't, really. He's never really grown up. he just sort of ages and goes squidgy around the edges of his teenage face. He's like one of those supermarket pears that goes from unripe to rotten without ever being good to eat.

It's weird, isn't it??

Well, he can hardly help his face, can he? Grin

KatyTheCleaningLady · 27/01/2013 14:08

It's funny, I was just watching a movie with Johnny Depp in it. He also used to be too baby-faced to appeal to me but he sure is fine now!

I agree. But his Brazilian model girlfriends don't seem to mind...

HecateWhoopass · 27/01/2013 14:09

I had to go and google now! Grin Is this him?

young

old

Looks just like any other aging bloke to me.

saggy and wrinkly.

DameMargotFountain · 27/01/2013 14:11

yet, this in a woman, is seen as endearing and one to be valued...

Fakebook · 27/01/2013 14:11

I never liked him. I was always a josh hartnett girl myself.

MrsRajeshKoothrappali · 27/01/2013 14:11

Poor sod!

He can't help how he looks!!

Grin

I actually think he's more fanciable now that he's older.

KatyTheCleaningLady · 27/01/2013 14:12

DoctorAnge: the fact that he has so many hot model girlfriends is the only reason I don't feel too bad about publicly saying "ew!"

never seen the appeal tbh, he reminds me if the evil doll out of childsplay.

Will say tho if a man started a thrwad of this ilk about a female i'm 99.9999999% certain mn would self combust Grin

Mrsrobertduvall · 27/01/2013 14:14

Well I saw him in Django Unchained last night and he was very good.

Nancy66 · 27/01/2013 14:15

Ian Beale in EE is the same

BacardiNCoke · 27/01/2013 14:16

I like him. He's a bloody fantastic actor.

KatyTheCleaningLady · 27/01/2013 14:16

He's a good actor. But I don't fancy him.

38 is NOT middle aged.
I am two years older and a mere slip of a thing. Yes I am. 100%.

HecateWhoopass · 27/01/2013 14:20

3 score and 10.

35 is halfway.

sorry. Grin

Longdistance · 27/01/2013 14:21

My db is like this.

He's 40 this year, and still looks so young, like early 20's, and looks like he hasn't left his teens behind him.

Well.....he does still live at home.

0blio · 27/01/2013 14:22

Paul McCartney is another one. Attractive when young but just looks wrong as he's aged.

HecateWhoopass · 27/01/2013 14:24

The real McCartney or his replacement?

Wink
Trills · 27/01/2013 14:25

38 is not middle aged.

He's grown into a pretty good actor.

There's no question of reasonableness when you fancy someone or don't fancy someone.

Lilithmoon · 27/01/2013 14:29

Hec you have the maths wrong.
We calculate it thus:
(Life expectancy 80)-(youth 30)=50
(Half way through adulthood 50/2)=25
30+25=55.
Therefore middle age does not begin until 55 (at which point I will find a new calculation).

WandaDoff · 27/01/2013 14:30

He reminds me of Norman Lamont these days.

Nancy66 · 27/01/2013 14:31

he is a good actor but his private life is starting to seem a bit sleazy to me.

Being surrounded by endless 19 year olds in bikinis when you're 22 is fair enough but now he's pushing 40 it's a bit off putting.

pictish · 27/01/2013 14:37

Oh leave him alone - he can hardly help his face can he? Grin

lovetomoan · 27/01/2013 14:37

He is not middle aged.

HecateWhoopass · 27/01/2013 14:38

Actually, the maths is more simple than that.

My age + 10 years = middle age.
