PFB DS is 14 months old

Today he stacked 8 bricks on top of the other.

That's good isn't it? Should I ring Cambridge now and let them know?

Mind you, he's not walking yet and he can't find his mouth with a spoon, but still

8 bricks. Grin

FaceLikeAPickledOnion · 23/01/2013 22:12

Sorry for the hijack, but because we lived in a flat till ds1 was 2y/o (he didn't learn how to climb stairs till then) I wasn't sure if ds2 was normal, average or above average with climbing and descending skills.

Above average deffo

DS can do it but really wobbly and needs help (and person right behind him with hand on bottom)

Your DS is elite :)

Catgirl. I like your style. Grin

I am reporting your OP for being Refreshing (and I think that is against the galk tuidelines). Not seen anything like it in a while, so it must have been banned by the Powers that be.

YorkshireDeb · 23/01/2013 22:24

Love this thread! My ds is only 4 months & nowhere near brick stacking yet. He can stand up (if I hold his waist) & I'm sure he said egg once. There were no eggs around at the time. X

SkiBumMum · 23/01/2013 22:31

How many schools has he been accepted into OP? He is clearly one of "those" children.

My 16m DD2 was by far the best Humpty Dumpty at Waterbabies yesterday. Grin

CoolaSchmoola · 23/01/2013 22:31

DD, 15 mths, carefully picked the raisins out of her pancake before throwing it to the dog this morning. I'm hoping she wants to be a vet.....

Because she also unpacked the shopping for me this afternoon and showed a worrying level of interest in the Asda logo. Confused

If it's not vet or shop assistant she's going to be a stuntperson. Apparently the world is a climbing frame and standing on top of the bowl on the top of the FisherPrice table is almost as much fun as climbing up the outside of the stairs hanging off the banister railing I'll be grey before she's two at this rate.

VinegarDrinker · 23/01/2013 22:34

Can I add my destined-for-a-maths-degree-from-Oxbridge PFB DS who has just turned 23 months and counts up to 35?
he also knows all his colours and shapes and half the alphabet, I think he may actually know more than I do before he's 3

Better than all that though is the fact he knew "Mummy's wine" "Mummy's tea" and "Mummy's phone" as some of his very first two word phrases.

< here endeth my not-at -all stealth boasting>

catgirl1976 · 24/01/2013 13:46

I love this thread too Pure Grin

All these amazing babies!

We have a Celebrity Chef / Leading Fertility Expert in YorkshireDebs DS

A future olympic swimmer in SkiBumMums DD

A vet / brand developer who does all her own stunts in Coolas DD and the next presenter of Countdown and Sommelier in Vinegars DS

Amazing Grin

Thanks for the analysis catgirl1976. I was struggling to work out the likely outcome of his early abilities but it's so much clearer now! X

catgirl1976 · 24/01/2013 13:57

The next Robert Winston I think :)

catgirl1976 · 24/01/2013 14:19

That is a very special skill family

I predict she will write high sucessful broadway musicals. Many of which will be made into films for which she will win many Oscars.

ooh, i bet her winning speech will be amusing! Grin

OscarPistoriusBitontheside · 24/01/2013 14:36

My ds2 has a mean throwing arm on him. Deadly accurate with a fork ball. We're training him to be a cricketer or moving to the USA so he can be a quarterback in the NFL. Grin

Ds1 has an answer for everything and is excellent at evading the question asked. I'm thinking future politician. Wink

ScarletLady02 · 24/01/2013 14:46

DD (2) has today donkey kicked me in both boobs (one foot per boob) and headbutted me in the nose....

Marshal arts expert maybe? The next Alice from Resident Evil? I am training her for Z Day, and she can still fit in an OFRS so I'm all good Grin

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 24/01/2013 14:49

Today ds2 was the loudest baby at the baby clinic. What be your prediction for a 7wo who is the loudest of all the babies? especially when mummy makes him angry by removing her nipple from his mouth at the end of a feed

catgirl1976 · 24/01/2013 15:24

You have a Rock Star there Stacey Grin

Scarlet I think a really cool ninja, secret agent type

Oscar You have a PM and a USA Allstar / England Captain

In that case I shall give up work, well studying, and let them keep me in the style to which in intend to become accustomed.

KaraStarbuckThrace · 24/01/2013 20:05

My daughter is only 19 months. And yodels better than Julie Andrews.
I think she maybe destined for a career as a goat herder.
