These threads are so odd. There is no such thing as mumsnet royalty - although there may be some saddos who think they are and some butt lickers who want to tell us who they think is.

Plus, this board is sooooo busy, I really don't take that much notice of the names or personalities involved as there are so many. It isn't really a very personal forum. There are a few recognisable names but that is mainly because the names are quite memorable/easy to remember, rather than knowing what they're like as individuals.

Meh. I don't think there is a MN royalty per se- I suppose I recognize more prolific posters because I usually hang about looking shifty on Active Convos, so they're more likely to come to mind. I don't post much, I haven't really found my niche. I tend to just answer questions when it's about something I know and share the occasional story. I don't think anyone really notices me.

BUT

My first 'serious' AIBU thread was on the Wright Stuff. Wrighty didn't like me, but a couple of the panel agreed with me. (I get the feeling he hadn't bothered to read my backstory and they had TBH. Shoddy journalism. Cock.)

Really, anyone who thinks they are, and I bet there are a few, are deluded - everyone is the same. But I do spot people who have been around for a long time and don't name change, such as Ledkr Anyfucker MrsDevere - who all seem like very lovely ladies from their posts and - most importantly - would not think of themselves as superior or 'royalty'
