Caravan hoilday

My father has decided that as a joined birthday presents for DS and DD he would pay for a family hoilday inbetween birthdays ( which are 3 weeks apart). All great no problems there.

but aibu to dismiss a caravan hoilday. I have no problems with caravan hoildays i have been a really enoyed it preDC, but the weather atm i am thinking it would be a wash out with heavy rain

Why would the weather 'atm' affect your holiday in 5 month's time?

YABU - we use our caravan all year round and always have a great time, even in rain and snow.

We first took DD when she was 9 months old and it rained quite a lot, but it didn't stop us doing anything.... Rule of caravanning - there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing. Get some rainsuits and wellies just in case and enjoy!

What do you mean by caravan?

A small personal caravan, driven to a farmers field, no facilities and you're left. Or a mobile home on a site, in a nice location, with lots of facilities?

I seriously wouldn't bother going there! Live near-ish...been there once and the place is awful!

Ah right, you need to ask then! If its an on site caravan I would assume this to be a mobile home, they can be very nice.

I used to have a static caravan on a site in sunny rainy Scotland. I loved it and the weather was never a problem. I found large quantities of alcohol made everything bearable and fun. Enjoy.

The climate changes are certainly scary. I think you'll be ok for a week in Tenby though.

I went to Corfu one june and it sodding well rained.
