I don't start my new job until mid February so I am rejoining the gym and have the time to go every single day, also include exercise classes and swimming. I will also take up jogging in the evening and eat better.

I currently weigh 12 stone exactly I would love to be around the 10 stone mark by the time I start my new job.

aibu to think this is possible? Or is that just crazy thinking?

If you are gonig to the gym you wont lose the weight as fat converts to muscle with excercise and muscle weighs heavier .... you will lose the inches and drop a dess size or three.

I envy your dedication!

Definitely possible as I've just done it!!

13st 1lb to 10st 12lb since Halloween.

Low carb, 4x shred a week and complete willpower are my tips!!

I agree, it is possible.

I went from 13st to 10st 9lb in 6 weeks even though I wasn't actually trying to lose any weight.

It was called the heartbreak diet. I wouldn't recommend it!

It's possible but if you don't do it through sustainable habits it will go back on - maybe not all of it, but definitely some of it.

Shinebright I can't speak to cutting out dairy as a weight-loss thing, but believe you me, there's no contest between carrying a few extra pounds and getting osteoporosis. Cutting any food group out completely is a no-no IMHO.

Why aim for 2 stones? If you make the lifestyle changes you describe in your OP then you should become fitter, healthier and, yes, slimmer. There is no need to get hung up on a specific number.

Hyperemisis made me loose 2 stone in 6 weeks. Twice. It's a pretty reliable method for me.
