Is this wierd? Opinions needed please. Just had hand delivered to our house a parcel addressed to Katy, then our address. Inside was a card which had a large red heart on it which said inside "To Katy, WOW!" then there was a parcel from Ann Summers inside was a gift wrapped large dildo in the shape of a large penis. Slightly wierded out by this as we have lived here for 9 years plus it was hand delivered but we didn't see who posted it.

My name is Kathryn, but no-one who knows me calls me Katy. Not sure what to think really but just feels a bit odd.

I don't think this is creepy at all. I don't think it was meant for you. If you are not known as Katy....its obviously meant for someone else. Phone Anne Summers and ask for reps phone number/ who ordered it to be delivered....

Don't throw it away you numpty...keep it for them to collect, so they can redeliver it to the correct person. You wouldn't throw away anything else which had been delivered to you in error would you?

that's very weird if you ask me, hand delivered? With a courier stamp? Or no stamp at all? If no stamp, then someone would have seen your house, and surely would realise they had the wrong person? thinkin that if you know someone well enough to give them a dildo, you know where they live (columbo)

You tend to pay by credit card at Ann Summers parties these days and then they just deliver the stuff to the party host or direct if it's out of stock a few weeks later. So I'll bet a rep has misread the address.

How strange - I'm thinking wrong address and the katy thing is a coincidence.

I would get it out the bin in case somebody realises tge mistake and wants it back....

I would be really creeped out by this- left near the bins for you to find but not on doorstep/porch? I think if no one has owned up by morning I'd be calling Police/101

Daresay if the OP called the police and explained the situation, they'd be able to tell her whether it is a crime or not.

It's definitely not a normal thing to find left next to your bins.
