Which thread are you on about? I enjoy reading (and sometimes participating in) a good healthy debate argument

I'm sometimes a bit sharp on a thread. And I read it afterwards and think did I write that. Xmas Blush

LucieMay · 15/12/2012 22:13

Just spotted the post detailing which threads OP is on about! Should've read the whole thread!

I am normally nice, but not always. I try to hide the threads where I think the posters are total fucking idiots.

Greensleeves · 15/12/2012 22:15

nobody IS flaming her!

we are telling her to get stuck in

and get a username that doesn't have "mummy" in it

I had a "mummy" name when I first waded in, I was quickly put right...

Rachel130690 · 15/12/2012 22:15

I think on this site you need to take the good with the bad. Sometimes you'll notice a lot of bitching but it can be great for advice when you really need it.

Don't give up on it yet. You'll be hooked in no time :)

WelshMaenad · 15/12/2012 22:16

FLAMING. Not flamming. Sorry, but it was making me stabby.

Tbh, so is the notion that children are better off lolling about in front of their own personal sky box instead of getting outside and active, which is good for their physical and mental health, but hey ho, don't we all parent differently?

My DD(6) has an £80 three season sleeping bag as her main gift this year, for her beloved wild camping trips with her dad. No doubt you will find it odd that she would rather pee behind a log than fanny about with whatever the fuck a 'play book' is.

OP to be fair, your comment saying it was a 'disgrace' to not buy a tiny baby a Christmas present came across as bitchy imo.

As you say, we all have different opinions and views.

So given the fact so many people had said they wouldn't bother either, your 'disgrace' comment was a bit uncalled for.

elfyrespect · 15/12/2012 22:19

Oh good.
I think you'll be glad you didn't flounce just then.

I got called a 'bitch' recently, I got totally slaughtered on a thread but oh well, I was drunk at the time as I am now so, 'water off a duck's back' etc. i have been posting for quite a few years - donkey's years but I seem to piss people off. You'll get used to it if you hang around!

WelshMaenad · 15/12/2012 22:24

Well, fuck me if you're not the parent and actually in charge of them. Just font let them come inside unless it starts to rain. They only want to be indoors because they have sky in their rooms.

Remove tvs from rooms.

Make children stay outside.

Voila, outdoorsy kids.

The AIBU board can be brutal. You just have to learn not to take it personally ( and name change!).
