Watching Eastenders for the first time in aeons.

There is Sharon in her power suit, synthetic platinum ringlets, sunbed tan, 2 kilos of makeup and her quivery pout.

Would Points of View be receptive to a letter requesting she changes things a bit. Shoulder length brown hair? Pair of jeans? Face tattoo.

Men still lose the will to think straight in her presence I see. Oh she's an unlikely femme fatale that one!

Yy but how many times do you hear people say (or read on here)

'I don't follow fashion, I wear what suits my figure ...'

Sounds exactly like my MIL. She wears skirts from M&S Classic collection and hasn't worn trousers for 50 years. When it's freezing cold outside, she wears two skirts for warmth

I gave up watching the Quadrangle of Misery years ago so haven't seen what Sharon looks like these days but I can sort of imagine. I remember watching Letitia Dean on Strictly and I think she's lovely looking actually, although she does have a difficult top-heavy figure. She seemed like a lovely person too. Can't say much about her acting now but it used to be fairly awful.

Glad to know I'm not the only one Lottapianos except I'm fully related to mine. Bearing in mind she is 52 now, and I left home 14 years ago and she was wearing them then too, you can see the depth of fashion fail I'm discussing here.

I must be around the age she was when she stopped wearing jeans and tight tops (bodysuits shudders). I wear flares, tight tops, nice things which may not be Top Shop fashionable, but are more River Island fashionable. I couldn't dress like a granny at 30, I'd want to hide in a cupboard until which point I actually was a Granny.

I met little Den on my honeymoon! He is lush and a really nice guy, he gave me a kiss when we were leaving!

I always read threads about her with a bit of a sense of dread as I have been told I look like her. I don't dress like her but she should wear skirts as her legs are great.

Been thinking the very same this week sorry but she looks awful and agree its completely implausible Jack would be falling for her

Icelollycraving Think of Shazza as a Christmas tree. There's nothing wrong with the tree itself it's just the way that it's been decorated is a bit tacky and ott.

I think Derek branning's son, joey looks a bit like the little den. Although he doesn't seem to have a nice streak at all. Maybe he'll have a soft spot for dot when she returns. She seems to be every young mans agony aunt on the square!

It's odd - in some respects (sort of) Tanya has a similar style to Sharon - heels, well groomed, blouses & pencil skirts etc. Also has a similar figure.

But Tanya looks great & her style suits her - not so Sharon.

I think we need to separate 'Sharon' from Laetitia Dean in our comments. Some of the remarks on here are becoming a bit mean and personal.

They are mean but perhaps I'm a bit sensitive

Sharon found her birth Mother back in the 90s, so if there's any half sister to Tanya storyline it would have to be that Tanya's Dad was knocking off Shazza's Mum.

They also need to stop casting her as some kind of irresistable sex symbol that no man can resist. She's resembled Miss Piggy since I was a child and I'm in my early 30's now!!

You never know, the menfolk of the Quadrangle of Despair might be porcineophiles.

I also realised when watching last night that Tanya played one of the nurses in No Angels. She was the minxy one.
