What would happen if someone fell in the cut and there was someonewas walking past with ine of those on?

Expectations would be raised for a safe and timely rescue.

But those hopes would be utterly dashed when the 9yo Tallulah announced it was just bought in Newquay in the summer and she only has just got her 25m.

whatever next, ban football tops incase members of the public could be mistaken for a premier league footballer and incite crowd excitement in the local shopping centre...

CurlyKiwiControl · 04/10/2012 04:08

dewe that had me laughing out loud Grin too funny!

Thumbwitch · 04/10/2012 04:23

hmm I suppose it'll be ok to buy paramedic-style jackets for fun next, will it?

Bad Idea.

So is the auto-linking of certain shop names! Although I did Grin that BOden didn't work...

Talc - I like your alternatives. Wink

sonfozod - spectacularly missing the point.

My Ds is a qualified lifeguard but he only has a mug.
Are these hoodies turquoise. I see a girl wearing one at the station sometimes.

SuePurblybilt · 04/10/2012 07:35

Thumb - I hate to tell you this but ^^. it did.

Bruffin, I've seen them in blue and pink but the red is very popular.

Fretnot, Chaos, it's only potentially dangerous if you're very close to the sea. And then not hugely. Just think of them in the same way you think of people wearing 'Oxford University' sweatshirts or NYPD t-shirts Wink.

bruffin · 04/10/2012 07:48

Just googled them and its not what this girl is wearing. Hers might be legit.

Thumbwitch · 04/10/2012 08:08

Not on mine, it didn't, Sue! Confused Weirder and weirder... (you're talking about the auto link, aren't you...)

5madthings · 04/10/2012 08:14

We saw these when on holiday in fevon last week. Loads of thrm.i thought some were quite cute. They had them.in red, yellow, pink etc.

I almist got one for dd (21mths) on.the front it had the lifeguard symbol etc and on the back.it said 'off duty save yourself' i thought it was kind of funny and would have looked cute on dd Grin

Living very close to that hell hole Newquay, I can confirm that in the summer every other person lots of people wear those bloody red hoodies. You can get your name printed on them but most people don't bother so it is just a sea of identical red lifeguard hoodies wherever you look
