To be *laughing* that this person defriended me from FB?

Is it suppose to hurt my feelings? Because, you know what? It doesn't!

Apparently telling her, on my status, that I don't agree with her opinion, was too much for her poor little feelings.

OP posts:
ShutTheFrontDoor · 19/09/2012 12:14

I still want to know what or who was boring.
Why not tell us, then after a bit of badgering only half tell us. Just bloody tell us.
It is exactly like those annoying fb updates.

X is feeling pissed off
Why Hun
I'll pm you.

Pm me if you like .

OrangeFireandGoldashes · 19/09/2012 12:19

Maybe your comment was the final straw?

Maybe your comment reminded her she'd been meaning to defriend you for a while?

Maybe she was already planning a friends "cull", completely unrelated to your comment and you're not the only one she has defriended.

Happy birthday, GoldShip.

Secret7 · 19/09/2012 12:22

I'm loving some of the comments on this thread.

I think we need to start highlighting when a thread is light hearted as some folk just don't get it.

I often joke when I have a disagreement that I will defriend that person on Facebook. It's so petty.

Tee why don't you put in a friend request to that person and see what happens? Grin

Aspiemum2 · 19/09/2012 12:23

So glad I'm not on Facebook! Too much drama for me Wink

Happy birthday goldship Biscuit

SuePurblybilt · 19/09/2012 12:24

Was it a Mner, who defriendededed you?

TheEnthusiasticTroll · 19/09/2012 12:35

the funniest thing I read on facebook by attention seeking person I know.

"Oh Im so excited, cant wait untill later on today"

a friend posted in responce, "why is that then?"

she responded.

"nosey, mind your own buisness"

I pissed my self reading that. always amuses me when I see attention seeking updates like that, I delivberatly dont ask thwem to elaborate.

TheEnthusiasticTroll · 19/09/2012 12:45

not read all this thread but is it relatd to another FB thread that is on MN just now, is it school selection related Tee?

cocolepew · 19/09/2012 12:46

Happy birthday gold, you bloody youngster WineThanks

SarryB · 19/09/2012 12:49

I think the word is 'un-friend'.

GetOrfAKAMrsUsainBolt · 19/09/2012 12:51

lol at jodie and recommending vitamin B6.

Some people on this thread need a kick up the arse.

Miserable tossers. I have absolutely no idea what gets into people. I am completely bemused by the responses tee has got on this LIGHTHEARTED and MILD thread.

ilovetermtime · 19/09/2012 13:00

I don't know what's going on Confused

Fakebook · 19/09/2012 13:12

What a boring thread. 5 pages of crap and op hasn't even told us what the disagreement was about. And I don't find it funny either.

nipersvest · 19/09/2012 13:14

i blame facebook. it's the work of the devil Grin

BlazerOfGlory · 19/09/2012 13:17

So lightheartd and mild its entirely empty. AIBU to be laughing at a private joke, really, and then oh god have youse no sense of humour. Not sure what the first has to to with the second.
Probably would have made a lot more sense in Chat.

SuePurblybilt · 19/09/2012 13:21

But the whole thing is a lovely sort of mirror of Facebook.

Incomprehensible private jokes
Huffing and offence taken on all sides
Mis-communication and humour that doesn't translate
Lots of 'certain people should xyz' comments (love those)
Poor Tee getting a hard time
Random Happy Birthdays

It's ace. All we need now is a picture of a lolcat and a sprinkling of smiley faces and it's complete.

JodieHarsh · 19/09/2012 13:26

Just for Sue and GetOrd, a visual demonstration of 'Before' and 'After' use of Vitamin B6

RubberNeckerNicker · 19/09/2012 13:26

Wow, this is one of those threads that I keep hearing about, with the new version of the frothers. Think you can be a little bit proud Tee Grin

And I am so stealing this from Paggy:
"Would anyone like me to pour them a big cup of calm the fuck down?"

JodieHarsh · 19/09/2012 13:26

GetOrFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF even Hmm

SuePurblybilt · 19/09/2012 13:27

Hah Grin .

JodieHarsh · 19/09/2012 13:30

And for Pag, A visual equivalent of a hot steaming cup of calmthefuckdown

JodieHarsh · 19/09/2012 13:30

That last one looks a bit thick, as kittehs go Grin

Alliwantisaroomsomewhere · 19/09/2012 13:32

YABU.

SuePurblybilt · 19/09/2012 13:34

Why, do you suppose, do FB captions assume that these animals-in-hilarious-poses are thick? Always with the 'I wub 'oo' and the txtspk.
Poor creatures. Haven't they suffered enough?

FunnysInLaJardin · 19/09/2012 13:36

Why does anyone need to know what the disagreement was about? Purlease tell me. That is not the point of the thread. It is irrelevant. The point is that it's funny that people de friend other people when they have an arguement. It's childish and petulent.

THERE that's what the OP was about for all those going Confused

JodieHarsh · 19/09/2012 13:37

I've always thought it was an ironic comment on the supposed superior intellectual abilities of the pusscat.

I might, however, be overthinking.
