To be *laughing* that this person defriended me from FB?

Is it suppose to hurt my feelings? Because, you know what? It doesn't!

Apparently telling her, on my status, that I don't agree with her opinion, was too much for her poor little feelings.

we need a mumsnet unfriend button Wink

BunnyLebowski · 19/09/2012 09:49

Jaysus OP are you always so obtuse or is today special?

Gold was trying to be nice. I'm betting she regrets it now.

And you do seem odd.

JenaiMarrHePlaysGuitar · 19/09/2012 09:49

You do sound a little chippy OP, to be fair.

It is very easy to misinterpret people's tone on MN.

Herrena · 19/09/2012 09:50

I get it. It's a minor difference of opinion but a telling insight into your 'friend's' personality that she defriended you over it.

I too laugh at other people when they unwittingly reveal their true pettiness (and I'm sure they snigger at me when I do the same) :)

FunnysInLaJardin · 19/09/2012 09:51

wow, talk about everyone getting the wrong end of the stick.Tee it's quite obvious why it's funny and I think your audience may just be those who defriend on a regular basis what with the obsession with what was actually said. I would walk away, there are no winners here...........

tee

I posted 'I'm asking because you sound a bit... Well odd really. And I know you're bit usually.'

My iPad corrected not to bit. How can you not get that...

Then went off on one.

bunny you're right I wish I hadn't bothered! It's m 21st today I shouldn't even be online ha!

Tee2072 · 19/09/2012 09:52

I am odd!

Was that suppose to be an insult??????

Well, there's lots of regret on this thread, Bunny.

Exactly, Herrena.

Sorry, I'm not from UK, not sure what 'A little chippy' actually means. I assume it's not nice but I really don't know, Jenai.

In any case, I'm about to head out with my son to play so feel free to talk amongst yourselves without me.

so op, are you going send your ex friend a friend request.
ah go on. you know you want to, just to wind her up a little bit more Grin Wink

Kayano · 19/09/2012 09:53

Hmm this thread is odd

So you created a status about her rather than message her and so she defriended you?

And now you have a thread here about it?

Do you like being a drama llama op?

MrsWembley · 19/09/2012 09:53

Tee You make me laugh.

Grin
GoldShip · 19/09/2012 09:53

slartybartfast · 19/09/2012 09:54

play nicely

BeyondTheLimitsOfAcceptability · 19/09/2012 09:55

I think its funny Grin

On a serious note...
I'd guess though, that you've been bugging her for a while, wrote your comment and she thought "ffs, go away will you" I very nearly defriended someone over something very similar last night. Not an important comment, but this person is just so opinionated!!!

PinkleWickers · 19/09/2012 09:56

Tee, honestly, this thread reads a tad strange...

Aibu to find the strangeness vaguely amusing? Grin

Pagwatch · 19/09/2012 09:57

Would anyone like me to pour them a big cup of calm the fuck down?

Tweasels · 19/09/2012 09:57

To be fair your OP does sound slightly unhinged. It reads like you're saying you're ok about it but clearly aren't. It also seems like it's aimed at the person who defriended you rather than the mn community. BUT that's the problem with social media isn't it. Without being able to put expression in your voice plus spelling and grammar mistakes, people can be easily misunderstood.

That's all that Goldship did, she made a grammatical error that you misinterpreted and she was actually being nice. Your response has added to the no doubt incorrect perception that you are unhappy.

Maybe this is what happened on FB, maybe you came across a bit like you are this morning and your (ex) friend misinterpreted it. Or maybe they're an arse hole. Who knows?

Herrena · 19/09/2012 09:57

No kayano, being a PROPER drama llama would be to post something like:
'OMG Well you do find out who ur friends are on FB when they can't even cope with you disagreeing with them even over the smallest thing LOLZ' as her status update!

Not that I want you to do that tee Grin

hazchem · 19/09/2012 09:57

I recently de-friended someone because I found there views on a topic really offensive and I realised I didn't want to be friends with someone who held those views. I didn't shout about it just did it.

SoleSource · 19/09/2012 09:58

21 today, 21 today.

I was 21, 17 years ago

!

Happy Borthday Gold x

Herrena · 19/09/2012 09:59

btw i thought tee commented on the friend's status and caused offence that way...
