We had the cess-pit lorry and pig poo spreading the other day. It was a damn fine drying day too.

The hedgerows are full of juicy blackberries though to quaff on the school run.

LIving in the sticks is a double-edged sword, I tells ya.

NorksAreMessy · 18/09/2012 22:50

Ketchup removes fox poo from dogs.
It must be Heinz.

(knowledgeable four-dog owner)

whathasthecatdonenow · 18/09/2012 22:51

Cezzy Grin. I often tell the year 11 boys having a farting competition that they don't scare me, I'm from a farming family!

NorksAreMessy · 18/09/2012 22:52

I live on a farm and actually DO like the smell of muck spreading, and even cow poo from bullocks at the end of the garden.

Don't like the flies that come with it though :(

NorksAreMessy · 18/09/2012 22:53

uterus I LOVE YOUR NN
Are you new to MN or a regular with brilliant inspiration?

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 18/09/2012 22:54

You need to live round here. A lot of our local farmers have decide that onions are a profitable crop. They are fairly innocuous when they are growing, but when they are harvested...Dear GOD!
They are graded as they are picked, and the wronguns are ploughed back in. The whole area smells like a burger van for weeks! And your eyes water!

wannabedomesticgoddess · 18/09/2012 22:55

I meant the banning of the crisp episode Sparkling. :o

KateUnrulyBush · 18/09/2012 22:55

Is that right Norks? I'm going to try that next time the little bleeder dog shows up in the yard stinking of rotting fish... Fox muck is seriously rank...

Sparkling I am :o at the number of posts assuming your op was serious.

Sparklingbrook · 18/09/2012 22:56

Saggy that sounds awful. I like the thought of a 'wrong onion' though.

KateUnrulyBush · 18/09/2012 22:56

xpost wanna sorry Blush

BaronessBomburst · 18/09/2012 22:59

I'm surprised they haven't banned the bread episode yet. Aunty Mabel buys a white loaf you know.

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 18/09/2012 23:02

Doesn't she eat a jam tart in the wood episode? Shock

BaronessBomburst · 18/09/2012 23:02

Agree about the number of posters thinking it was serious! God, rather a bit of manure once in a while than constant traffic fumes.

NorksAreMessy · 18/09/2012 23:03

kate it is a TRUEFACT :)
Have ketchupped plenty of terriers in my time

BaronessBomburst · 18/09/2012 23:04

And all that cream on the cake for Pippin's birthday? Even if it does end up over her freshly dry-cleaned dress.

NellyJob · 18/09/2012 23:10

poor Pippin is dead you know....Sad

Sparklingbrook · 18/09/2012 23:12

I can't watch Come Outside without thinking of Nurse Gladys Emmanuel in Open all Hours. That would be banned now because of the stammering shop keeper no doubt.

OP posts:
BaronessBomburst · 18/09/2012 23:12

I thought there was more than one?

Shaky · 18/09/2012 23:23

Pippin is dead! How come I didn't know this?

Really?

Oh no poor pippin

I'll never be able to watch it again knowing he's dead.

Please tell me you are joking Sad

Shaky · 18/09/2012 23:24
NellyJob · 18/09/2012 23:28

how could I joke about such a thing?
my daughter told me yesterday Sad

Shaky · 18/09/2012 23:40

Poor pippin Sad

UterusUterusGhali · 19/09/2012 09:00

Ive been here years, Norks.

I love the sewage episode of CO. Linda Baron in a sewer never fails to make me chuckle. She's so professional!

Fox poo IS the worst smell in the world. I like the smell of horse & cow poo. Tis lush. Also bf baby poo Blush
Human, pig & hen waste is vile though. Too ammonia-y.

KateUnrulyBush · 19/09/2012 09:08

I suspected Pippin may be no longer with us, due to the age of the programme, but seeing it in black & white is very sad.

Anyway, off to stock up on ketchup in anticipation of the Jack Russell's next fox-poo-bath...

diddl · 19/09/2012 09:16

Pootatoes-arf!

Sorry, only just found this thread.

Sure is a lingering smell.

Which lingers longer if the dog manages to roll in shit.
