I saw an advert for something for £40 this morning and was negotiating a deal with the seller. We agreed on a price and I went and picked it up. All pretty obvious for all to see!

When I got home I saw a message from someone else saying

"I'll gi ye 40£ 4 ths. Dnt take ne less from this cheeky bitch lol. Can pick up now. Sum ppl just want to rip others off xxxx"

AIBU to think this is a little over aggressive?

Oh and the ones on Freegle who are just getting rid of their old shite...eg.

"One washing machine...rusted but works sometimes...please call this number: must collect before tomorrow"

My pet peeve is people putting on "needs a wipe down" or "not been used for a while so needs a wash"..... Fecking wash it then you dirty bugger!!

Is the dirt an added extra? WHY WHY WHY? It just seems so wrong to give someone money for the privilege of cleaning their filth off it!

NCForNow it can be cheaper for someone to pick up broken washing machines to be sold for scrap than it can to arrange the council to take them away. So I do kind of get that.

Coola...totally! I bought a fish tank with that disclaimer...it was cheap but man! Just chuck a few kettles of boiling water before you sell it woman! How hard is it?

after reading this thread I went onto my own local page, somebody is selling sofas that need a wipe down as it has stains on it from jeans

I thought well fricking wipe it down you dirty cow.

I am really seriously concerned about the pets being sold . saw too lovely huskies being sold due to 'personal circumstances ' 'good with kids' but they were in a huge cage out side, If they are so good with kids and lovely much loved pets , why sell them , maybe I am just over sensitive
