it's a big pile of big BLUE shite!

AWomanCalledHorse · 29/08/2012 07:44

Yanbu.
Watch Ferngully instead, at least that has the voice of Tim Curry.

NervousAt20 · 29/08/2012 07:45

I completely agree!!!

InkyBinky · 29/08/2012 07:46

Awful movie, they spent millions on the appearance of the movie and $3.43 on the script writer.

MrsKeithRichards · 29/08/2012 07:46

Oh god it's awful!!

buttercrumble · 29/08/2012 07:51

Absolute tripe,i was bored stiff for 3 hours when dh persuded me it was the better option than the lovely bones (my choice)
I should have left him to it.....

confusedpixie · 29/08/2012 08:10

I quite liked avatar, it was a cheesey, space aged pocahontus! Though there was no plot and the only good thing about it was the graphics, I think it is a like it because it's so bad thing Grin

On another note, 3d doesn't agree with me and dp either. w don't get that ill to their up but we can't wear the glasses for more than ten mins at a time as it gives us both really bad headaches. I have no idea why!

MrsHelsBels74 · 29/08/2012 08:16

I love Avatar but we're all different.

trikken · 29/08/2012 08:17

Love avatar. Don't understand the 'no plot' thing, it had loads!! Maybe u all fell asleep? Oh and yabu.

Vaginald · 29/08/2012 08:21

I agree: avatar is essentially fern gully/ Pocahontas, but blue.

JazzAnnNonMouse · 29/08/2012 08:23

Yanbu!! It's like pocahontas with the smurfs.

Matildarae · 29/08/2012 08:29

Yanbu I hated that film

JamieandTheOlympicTorch · 29/08/2012 08:32

I love it. It's one of my favourite films.

roundtable · 29/08/2012 08:35

You lot are crazy...

Grin
squeakytoy · 29/08/2012 08:42

Definately a love or hate film. Personally I thought it was excellent.

adeucalione · 29/08/2012 08:46

All the reviews I read at the time said that Cameron's vision for the movie was such that he had to build the technology needed to make it happen - it was a complete game changer for the movie industry.

For that reason, YABU.

Kayano · 29/08/2012 08:53

It's like fern gully but shit

Kayano · 29/08/2012 08:54

And didn't they have sex
The way they rode a horse too?

And the names unobtanium and hometree. Such inventive names

NoComet · 29/08/2012 09:39

JazzAnnNonMouse · 29/08/2012 10:01

Starballbunny - I hope you find the shoes you need quickly and quietly Grin

NoComet · 29/08/2012 10:18

AmberLeaf · 29/08/2012 10:24

Yeah it did nothing for me either.

Buttercrumble did you like the lovely bones though? I tried to read the book several times and could never finish it and struggled to watch the film too!

Whatmeworry · 29/08/2012 10:25

Human/alien/plant porn :o

mumeeee · 29/08/2012 10:35
