Vile, disgusting man. Not content with being a rape apologist he tweeted on Sunday and referred to someone as a"window licker". A vile, derogatory term of abuse used against people with disabilities. Why is this man an elected mp? Surely people can see what a truly disgusting man he is.

Jumping - I thought that he had one of the worst records of attendance at the house of commons of any MP. And his entry in wikipedia backs this up.

I think he spends most of his time cosying up to dictators around the world rather than working for his constituents.

Using a term such as 'windowlicker' then presumably shows everyone he's a plain speaking, gritty, impassioned politician with no time for those softly spoken namby-pambies in Westminster, or something like that. He must find it plays well to his supporters.

Why's he courting the publicity for btw? Is he electioneering?

No doubt he'll appear on QT in September and explain how he doesn't hate women, his mother was one, of course he isn't disablist blah blah - but has courted enough publicity to get his views aired. Nick Griffin's been a bit quiet recently too.

In order to get rid of this joker, people need to stop voting for this idiot. Unfortunately given he keeps getting elected, it seems that democracy is obviously fucked in the head and not working.

Therefore we are forced to admit that democracy has had its day and in true undemocratic fashion, we must find a way of making his candidacy illegal. Mr Galloway is paranoid enough as it is, so why not just make it justified...?

I think there are a few possibilities:
Prove he isn't British. Like the Americans keep trying to do to Obama.
We can find a way to detain him under the Mental Health act.
We can somehow bankrupt him.
We can convict him of high treason.

We can get him convicted of something that leads to a sentence of one year or more.
Or we can get him under the Representation of the People Act 1983. (about behaviour during elections and including making comments about other candidates personal character or conduct unless they can prove they had good grounds to say what they did)

Some of them look actually possible to orchestrate; especially given his ego and mouth.

If all else fails, apparently having sex with the wife of the heir to the throne counts as high treason. Camilla we salute you and respectfully ask you to 'take one for the team'.

Windae licker was unfortunately quite a common insult when I was growing up.

Usually used to describe the folks with pretty severe learning disabilities who used to get collected in a mini bus and brought to the day centre.

a rape apologist is someone who peddles rape myths like 'wearing short skirts makes you fair game' or 'most rape victims are vindictive liars' or even (in George's case) 'sex with a sleeping woman isn't rape, it's bad manners'
ie people who seek to belittle the experience of rape victims and minimise the responsilbility of rapists not to commit rape by putting the blame on the shoulders of the victims.
Rape apologists contribute to a culture in which men rape with impunity and women are too afraid to report it.
