AIBU to write a sign in crayon "Little Boy free to good home" for my three yo and make him stand out side the from door?

He doesnt listen to me has painted himself red and run around shouting im spidarman, put my pink miniymouse haedband on and jumped up and down on my bed, has tought the baby to stick her toung out and blow rasberries and will not put his clothes on and is currently wiggling his bum at his sister.

Im sure if i did make him hold the sign the teenager from next door would laugh and take him in but im worried she might bring him back!

Sell him on ebay. You'll get a better price and chances are, somebody from out of the area will buy him, thus making him harder to return Smile

anairofhope · 25/08/2012 13:03

Can i pay for someone to take in on ebay?
Wink

He doesnt start school til the 12th and his new word is "im bored!" along with "why?" and "i want food!" :(

SoleSource · 25/08/2012 13:13

He sounds amazing.

I would have him abd be his new Mum in a heartbeat.

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn · 25/08/2012 13:15

Would you consider a swap? I have a two year old I'm willing to hand over till shes about 4 and had stopped the perma-whinge stage.

SoupDragon · 25/08/2012 13:24

I once took DD to baby clinic to get her weighed with the sole intention of working out how much postage would be :o I did not mention this to the HV.

MrsKeithRichards · 25/08/2012 13:49

I second eBay. Just make sure you uncheck the 'returns accepted' box to avoid any returns!

anairofhope · 25/08/2012 13:50

Lol son weighs 17.6kg and is 104cm tall and im willing to pay postage.

Swaps no good as he is also whiny and has started the "i like that" and crying when i dont give him the kitchen knife and "i dont like that" when he has asked for an apple both result in crying lol

Confused

Good luck with that, I asked the ladies at my local charity shop if they would like mine for free this morning, and they refused saying they don't stay still long enough for them to put price labels on!

hermionestranger · 25/08/2012 14:04

Whinging doesn't stop at 4. Sorry. Sad

Debeez · 25/08/2012 14:16

Ah the joys of toddler hood. YANBU.

solesource is right, he does sound amazing. My DS is also amazing, and a bloody handful at times! Now he's 8 postage would be a lot though so we don't have that option. Grin Good job I'm fond of the little monkey!

Can you trick him? Sleepy lions, who's quietest when Mum's having a cuppa/biscuit/ or screaming into a pillow ?

MyLittleMiracles · 25/08/2012 14:18

Yep, definitely Ebay, get some of the money back they have cost too so we can go treat ourselves!! Charity shops arent allowed "live" goods. I did once ask the post office if they would allow me to send my DS to his nanny's by post, they said no, he was too delicate, i protested that i would bubble wrap him, so best not mention the contents

Mine near 5 and being a pain today as well. Hes doing the tantrum whinging thing and basically being a spoilt brat.

eBay is very tempting, we could do a bundle Grin

moonmrs · 25/08/2012 14:30

Yabu. Some women would kill to be a mum you know.

Debeez · 25/08/2012 14:33
MyLittleMiracles · 25/08/2012 14:38

None of us would SERIOUSLY sell our children but a week away from them with just peace maybe in the middle of nowhere wouldnt go amiss occasionally when they drive us nuts!!

cupcake78 · 25/08/2012 14:39

They wouldn't have to kill, they could just use eBay Grin ( I am allowed to say this after numerous mc's and a horrendous pregnancy with potential termination on medical grounds, I worked hard for ds).

FasterHigherBeardierDaddyman · 25/08/2012 14:40

Yeah, that was a bit of a turd in the swimming pool...

cupcake78 · 25/08/2012 14:41

Otherwise known as a Bombay Trout Wink

FasterHigherBeardierDaddyman · 25/08/2012 14:41

My dd is the same. The trick is to put the paint on a higher shelf and buy earplugs Grin

Debeez · 25/08/2012 14:41

I would ebay DS if he did a turd in the pool postage or not!

Debeez · 25/08/2012 14:42

Cupcake I'm so glad you got your DS. Sorry you felt you had to justify a bit of humor by sharing something very personal.

FasterHigherBeardierDaddyman · 25/08/2012 14:42

Bombay trout! Grin

Only4theOlympics · 25/08/2012 14:44

Believe me I KNOW how hard it can be to have a child. It has taken me a long time to come to terms with the fact that even for a very hard fought for child it is OK to want a break every once in a while. It doesn't make you ungrateful, heartless or a bad mum. It makes you human.

However I would suggest free loan periods as opposed to out and out sales.
