to shave in the shower at the gym

So in the gym showers earlier and when I was scrubbing up I realised that I had a razor in my washbag (it's the same bag I take on holiday) and as I was a little fluffy in the underarm region I thought I might do a bit of sprucing... Then I got all wierded out by the idea and didn't do it. Wibu to shave in a communal shower, albeit in seperated cubicles or is it icky and unsociable to do so?

Banned at my gym too. Apparently partly because of time pressure, and partly because of bleeding issues.

Just for clarity - this was a communal shower, with one big drain running along the back wall, but there are individual cubicles - within the commmunal shower. So the cubicles don't have their own drain, iyswim.

Thinking about it more today I would have found it hard to do anyway because there wouldn't be anywhere to prop my legs up to do them, and I can't shave just my pits and not do my legs!
