I have lost some ones phone number, my SIL thought I'd send them a quick FB message to ask if they got the present I sent them over 10 days ago - (I sent it 1st class so they must have or its got lost)

and they've deleted me off FB....

Bloody hell, Any one would think we were 14 year olds...

My SIL deleted DH and myself off fb. I think she's an immature twat.

There are a myriad of reasons that people want to delete family from FB. I, for instance, was quite put out when my brother decided to give a full run-down of my mental health issues on m FB wall. That is the kind of thing that gets you a swift punt off of my list! Why would I keep a loose cannon around ike that? So that they can continue to learn things about you to use at a later date? Don't think so.

My Mum I deleted for constantly belittling things that she read. I was cautious about adding her in the first place because we clash about everything and I like to keep her at arms length. I should have listened to myself because I ended up having to remove her anyway.

I don't have any obligation to let people read things about it, regardless of what blood relation they are.

I deleted every single one of my in-laws because they have a habit of dragging shitty disputes and brawls into any space (real and virtual) they can find. I now have a lot more fun on Facebook.

I have blocked certain "family" members, they never "friended" me to begin with, the last conversation was a phone call where I was sworn at.
They are friends of other relatives so wanted to make sure they couldn't see me.
So if they aren't friends in real life and we avoid each other, why let them see my FB?

I once had a row with DH and I deleted him off my FB page only to ask him to add me again the next day. Blushx10

Yanbu

I don't know what it is about fb that makes people act like backsides!

A family member of ours deleted dh and I from their fb...text us to tell us they done it...then an hour later text to ask why we had blocked them...wtf! (and all because of pathetic jealousy over a pic with another family member and our ds!)

Fb seems to make people lose their manners and senses....better off without them on your fb if you ask me

I unfriended my niece (14) from FB as I was fed up with the dozen "x likes......." a day she would post. Not sure she's noticed to be honest.

Wondering whether to unfriend my sister at the moment. She's refusing to have anything to do with me just because I still sent her ex-h a Christmas card. Not sure that's consistent with contact through FB, but that would be me just being as childish as her so I'll probably do nothing.
