To be chuffed that my first thread became 'most active'

I have never started a thread before, then I was watching the telly tonight and thought, 'i bet someone on mn is also finding this documentary interesting, shall I find out?'

So I dared myself to start a thread in TellyAddicts, and Lo! it became 'most active'

AIBU to be very proud of this?

I think my own commentary posts may have nudged it over the line though...

Noqontrol, it doesn't give a veggie alternative, but I guess Noel's suggestion of Quorn/other high protein food would work well.

BTW, I got this diet from Holland and Barrett about 10 years ago. It was called the "7 day souper cabbage diet". I think the idea was that you spent about £10 on a jar of capsules which were supposed to be a supplement to the food, but I replaced the capsules with the soup and it worked just as well.

I lost a stone in a week without even trying (twas many many years ago...)

Involved going to a festival, being so excited about it that I didn't sleep, dancing about to shit music the entire long weekend, lots of sunshine so I didn't feel like eating and barely did so.

No drugs.

Ahh the cabbage diet. I know it well. Everyone in my office was doing it at the time, aside from me. But it smelt bad in there too. Still, I'm not proud. I'll give nearly anything a go.

Me too MrsRhett. But dc and dh would never let me escape. Unless I did it in the dead of night, whilst they were all sleeping.

Will spend all day thinking of something potentionally worthy of 'discussion of the day'.

Gutted that I have just learnt that Mark Cavendish is five years younger than me and has a page 3 girlfriend. Anyone else enjoyed him in the velodrome?
