I'm wondering why some of the posters who claim to have no idea who she is seem to know exactly which papers to avoid if you don't want to know about her. Disingenuous perhaps? Reading quality papers doesn't mean you are not a bit thick it would seem.

I don't know exactly how I avoid reading about her, but from the vague "sex with footballer" descriptions it's not hard to guess where she might be featured.

I didn't 'claim' to have no idea about her. I have no idea about her. 'Claim' sounds awfully sniffy - as if the idea that one might have not registered who this woman was defies credibility.

I would guess her main audience was celeb gossip type mags which I loathe. That does not mean that I only read the quality press.

Shockingly some of us just get up, watch the new, read the paper we gone across in the coffee shop and still manage not to know who she is because a woman doing yoga on the beach or whatever it was she does to interest the paps just passes me buy.

I would read about Victoria Beckham or maybe Katie Holmes but I have a perception filter or something once the celebrity in question hasn't done anything or is a D-list/ who the fuck/look at my new boob job type. I don't know the big brother contestants or soap stars either.
That doesn't make me a newspaper snob. I just don't care about them.
