how's it hanging, Boris?

This is what makes the Olympics so very, very British.

OP posts:
usualsuspect · 01/08/2012 14:49

Thats quite scary then.

Ithinkitsjustme · 01/08/2012 14:53

Definitely Boris for our next PM!

bunnywhack · 01/08/2012 14:57

Didn't he defend some woman who was being mugged once. I vaguely remember hearing that so he can't be all bad

PlumpDogdePodiumPunchesdeAir · 01/08/2012 14:58

People take Boris seriously enough that he'll almost certainly be next Tory leader.
But how seriously does anyone really take a Tory leader? Even when he's PM?
Sad - Tory face
Angry - Socialist face (with no political representation whatsoever, so now trying to look for least damaging out of mainstream party fuckwit leaders)

squoosh · 01/08/2012 14:58

She was probably an actress palying the part of mug-ee. Stage left: Boris then swooped in and saved the day.

I seriously would not be surprised.

usualsuspect · 01/08/2012 14:59

So the Tories are stupid enough to take Boris seriously then?

PlumpDogdePodiumPunchesdeAir · 01/08/2012 14:59

He always looks like he's defending some poor mugging victim, bunny. It's the multi-purpose dishevelled hair that wins out again on this one.

ScrambledSmegs · 01/08/2012 14:59

That's our Mayor, that is. 2 terms Hmm.

PlumpDogdePodiumPunchesdeAir · 01/08/2012 15:00

Well they took Cameron seriously, didn't they, usual?

usualsuspect · 01/08/2012 15:00

True Grin

squoosh · 01/08/2012 15:01

The City of London is the mugging victim against that crafty toff.

The only thing I like about him is that he pisses DC right off.

PlumpDogdePodiumPunchesdeAir · 01/08/2012 15:02

squoosh you've just highlighted a missed zipwire opportunity there. Why wasn't there a startled looking bit off Tory totty hanging off BJ's paunch?

squoosh · 01/08/2012 15:04

Thats' true. If he'd thought it through he would have arranged for there to be a cat stuck up a tree that needed rescuing.

Cat lovers are an influential and under represented voting group!

Shame it wasn't Cameron. We could of left him dangling like a tit in a breeze for a few days then gone and prodded him with sticks Grin @ Pets

PlumpDogdePodiumPunchesdeAir · 01/08/2012 15:12

Hmmm - or maybe he'd have flown through the air like the proverbial pig to swipe a chirpy Cockney sparra from the clutches of a miserable Ken-faced cat?

On which note I've gotta say I'm actually sooo glad that bumbling Boris is doing the job rather than whiney Ken. Just imagine what a let down Ken's wheedling ramblings would be like...

(And WRT Boris and his wedgies - there's another missed opp. He could have flown along the zipwire by the seat of his big fat Union Jack undies.)

squoosh · 01/08/2012 15:15

You crazy loon, were you willingly staring at his bunched up crotch?

Your eyes will probably fall out now.

coffeeisking · 01/08/2012 15:26

Is there video if this! If so I need to see it! Grin

Oof, nooo, squoosh. It's that KellyElly getting hot and bothered about Boris and wedgies Shock Confused

NotLikeThatYouWont · 01/08/2012 15:40

Agree he's a buffoon at the best of times, but surely this particular one wasn't his fault?

coffeeisking · 01/08/2012 15:51

Thanks kim! That has made my day! Grin

lovebunny · 01/08/2012 17:53

boris. i believe the people who say he's clever.

degutastic · 01/08/2012 18:18

I love Boris, and I would be happy to see him as PM. Yes, the love-able buffoon is a cleverly crafted image, but it conceals at first rate mind and I can happily get on board with his political agenda, personally. Not to everybody's tastes, I'm sure, but I don't think there's ever been a PM with universal popularity.

Pics made me laugh, though Grin

tryingtonotfeckup · 01/08/2012 18:27

Its even funny when he is going on the zip line not just stuck.

Boris can get away with a lot more than other politicians precisely because of his buffoon image. It is refreshing to have someone not the toe the line all the time, even if it is all image. Very bright guy.
