I had a right ding dong with ebay who didn't seem that bothered over this link

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/I-Love-Sex-Hoody-Any-Colour-Any-Size-1040-/270599915970?pt=UK_Girls_Tops&var=&hash=item3f010309c2

I started looking at the internet about it and came accross the mumsnet site
I'm no Mary Whitehouse but would you put a 9 year old in this?

Yanbu

carycach · 01/08/2012 15:21

solidgold- Would you like to elaborate? why is it a fuss about nothing The item was listed in the children's clothing section.

solidgoldbrass · 01/08/2012 16:16

Yeah, waah, blaaaah! One minor lazy error in a listing becomes OMG THEY ARE TURNING ALL OUR CHILDREN INTO PROSTITUTION! Get over yourselves.

MsLydia · 01/08/2012 18:28

SGB, you are filled with so much vitriol.

Kayano · 01/08/2012 18:36

Well... Sgb is right IMO

Krumbum · 01/08/2012 19:11

I agree sgb. Although I think we should not be bringing up girls focusing in there looks and caring about being 'pretty'. I do think the prudishness people have combined with fear of the peadophiles ridiculous. It's victim blaming and it restricts little girls freedoms.

Lilylightfoot · 01/08/2012 19:32

Ok no 9y is likly to get one as a come on to peadophiles but what about a 13 y whos BF is saying come on very body is doing at,you are the only saying no.What does it say her?

OutragedAtThePriceOfFreddos · 01/08/2012 19:42

I really can't summon the energy to worry about this. It's up to parents what their children wear, not random eBay sellers.
