Thanks NannyOgg for what must be my best google of the month. I find that Drop Scone is Pratchet for Battle Bread which has surely to be my name change should I ever require one. I love an interesting google.
Apologies for my lack of contribution to the actual point in hand. I fear it must be my youf-ful butterfly mind which is easily distracted by interesting detail. (I am under 40 you know).
Fluffyraggies, if I have to get technical, 90 is pretty old to me, 60's is more late middle aged, and I'm not very good at labels so I'm not too sure about the inbetween. Is it because I is a bit old, but a bit young? Or is I a bit dim?! As for what makes 'old' an acceptable insult, is this like ebay where you might describe something as 'vintage' instead of 'leaky and/or with holes in'?!!

The one thing that cheers me up is that everyone (if they are lucky to live long enough) gets old. You can spend money to make the best of yourself, but the young and beautiful are not fooled and the best you can hope for is 'good for your age'!
