I'm a bit of a lurker in AIBU (have posted in pregnancy forums) and am nervous of diving in for this reason!

I thought somebody was on to me a while back so namechanged for a while then changed again and feel nicely anonymous again now.

To try to be royalty seems to require too much effort for me, anonymity beats all that trying hands down!

Name change, stop aiming to be "Mumsnet royalty" (Not sure if you're being serious with that, does anyone really care?!) and stop being bitchy - that should ensure you remain anonymous in future.

I was outed. I was really upset at the time, but it did me a favour as it made me realise I had been too lax about what I had posted on here in the past.

I have since name changed 2 or 3 times and am far more careful about what I share.

Tee - I have never knowingly instigated anything in my life.

It always fascinates me that people want to be well known on here.

I do admit to liking certain posters and their styles but I'm not interesting or kitty enough to be with the "in crowd" and prefer to name change every few months.
