you know, the type who have no intentino of ever working, if you yourself are willing to smuggle too many fags into the country to sell on, leave a restaurant knowing that they forgot to charge you for over £50 worth of drink, dodge a bit of tax.

I judge my neighbour who claims to be so disabled that he can't walk without a stick and then only to the shop (when he leaves the house he does this and to go to doctors/ anywhere)

But is always digging the garden and even last week climbed up some scaffolding that the council put up at the back of his house to clean the windows!!!

I was Shock

I've also seen him dancing and playing chasey with his young relatives in the back garden.

DP just offered to go and get me fudge (most likely also from 24 hr Asda katie as is nearest to us). Tried to say actually yes while making it look like a 'noooo, course not', but obviously failed as he is still glued to sofa, darn it.

Can't you go for the "Need fuuuuddddgggeee" stuck record?

I find it takes DH on average 6.3 repeats before he sighs and gets out the car keys.

Sadly he's out tonight and I had to go myself, 4 flakes for a pound, though...

Now I want fudge.

Can't see dp going though. I've already sent him out for macdonalds, ice cream and milkshake this week

Scammers should deffo be judged, just like rich tax avoiders should. Only difference between the two is one is at the top of the system and the other is at the bottom. Their intention is still the same: to defraud someone like me who earns just enough to pay every tax going, qualify for no benefits and who has paid a hefty chunk of everything I've earned into the pot for years without complaining (until now).

I live in a town full of scammers and see it going on all the time. Sick of being PC. I'm judging left, right and centre.

I judge everyone. I don't discriminate.

agree with nuttyprofessor, i do judge people on benefits who have chosen it as a lifestyle, not if circumstances have pushed them to it. there's one mum in this Godforsaken village who has two boys diagnosed with ADHD and claims extra money for them being 'disabled' right? then she is sitting at home smoking weed and drinking beer while her lovely children run riot in the street, criss crossing in front of the trunk road traffic on their bikes and pointing imitation firearms at passersby.
I merely observe.

Just to say, you cannot judge people's health, they may well have a variable condition, or may be in pain but doing whatever it is anyway. I used to be a Health Advice Worker for the CAB, and had several clients who quite rightly claimed DLA Mobility. They got odd looks from neighbours when they were walking round the town, but they were in pain, and had been told by their doctors to 'use it or lose it.'

That said, I had one client who I refused to put in a claim for DLA as she wasn't eligible, by her own account. She put in her own claim, and was awarded it. V much doubt this would happen now.

Yabu if they make that decision, they have to prepared to be judged. We're do they think the money comes from to support them, the money fairy [ hmm]

I am talking about those who are perfectly able to work, but wont

Report
SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 27/07/2012 12:41

Ah Piglet, don't judge! They can't work because the free fudge has turned them into a pudge. To the shops they should trudge, to buy some of that slimming sludge. Then, when slim, the could work like a drudge.

Im sorry but I judge people who dont work claim benefits and knock out numerous kids! I work full time and pay my taxes so when you hear stories about some of these people and how they are better off than a person working full time it makes me angry. Im not saying all people on benefits are the same bit I will continue to judge those that are ; 0 (

YABU

If it's a case of "he who is without sin should cast the first stone" then there'd be no judging of anyone ever and AIBU would be very boring.

I have judged people on benefits who have absolutely no intention to work (and have said this outright to me) they are fit to work, but by lazing about on the dole for years, have made themself virtually unemployable (one of the people, as an example, is 26 years old and has never had a job, or made any reasonable effort to get one). Having a child two years ago has meant she now uses the excuse of wanting to bring up her child as a reason to not work and has said she will never work as she 'doesnt need' to.

Everybody has 'the right to judge' anybody they please, in their own mind, it is the beauty of free thought and not living under a despot dictatorship regime. So long as these judgements are not based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability, I think a certain amount of judginess in society is healthy and can assist in keeping a community in check. If no one judged anyone, ever again, society and the values of this country would crumble further imo.
