The poor pair with the burns.

The Father and Daughter relationship is beautiful. I wish my Father was like him. I'm so envious. His DD is so lucky.

They've got a beautiful relationship Smile

My dad would be pacing the floor and telling me to pipe down Grin

ThePathanKhansWitch · 25/07/2012 21:36

No, poor Daisy Sad. What a lovely man her father is. I hope she'll be ok.

Liketochat1 · 25/07/2012 21:37

I was just crying about this. It's a wonderful relationship. Dh has made me turn it over as he doesn't like these a and e type shows.

KellyElly · 25/07/2012 21:38

Me too. Poor little thing. Can't help but make you imagine how terrible it would be if it was your own child in that situation. Had to go and cuddle my DD in her bed.

I'm weeping here, natural reaction would be to pat the fire out whilst screaming turn the shower on

Poor little girl but so fortunate to have such a lovely dad.

Pooka · 25/07/2012 21:41

Is tear-jerking stuff. Poor daisy. :(

watfordmummy · 25/07/2012 21:42

love that he waited until she was settled before he got his own hands treated.

noUggscuse · 25/07/2012 21:42

Yadnbu - i cry whilst watching this show every week without fail. Such an amazing show.

Pooka · 25/07/2012 21:43

We have an open fire and a wood burner. I've always been pretty obsessive about fire guards as a result. Mostly as a result of kids being nutters kids and having tendency to storm round the house and I'm terrified of them falling into the fire.

SoleSource · 25/07/2012 21:43

I had tears. The Father stated something like that if you do not ever light the fire again the bad experience stays in the present. Keep on lighting the fire and it becomes just part of the past. Wonderful guy.

I was sobbing at this when dh came home from the gym. We are now watching something about crocodiles.

ThePathanKhansWitch · 25/07/2012 21:46

I want one of you to come on and say "Actually thats my husband and dd, and their fine now". I bet the dad is a MN, he sounds like one, just lovely, his poor hands as well.

SoleSource · 25/07/2012 21:47

scummymummy · 25/07/2012 21:50

Dad of the year award for Daisy's dad, I think. Amazingly lovely and brave father.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 25/07/2012 21:50

My DH is like that, if DD is ever ill and at dr or hospital he holds her the whole time and I feel like a spare part

balotelli · 25/07/2012 21:50

who puts a cashmere cardigan on their cat?

My fave programme, never miss it. DW can only watch it from behind a cushion. Bit squeamish.

landofsoapandglory · 25/07/2012 21:51

He is amazing. I started crying when he said "my diamond, Daisy".
