IamNotYourLove · 19/07/2012 13:54

for calling me "My love" every other sentence?

Do you want a bag my love.
Enter your pin my love.
Do you want a bottle of water for just 28p my love.

I am not your love.

I am an intelligent ,degree educated professional woman , who wirites for the national broadsheet newspapers, mid 40s, dressed in skinny jeans, converses, nice hair and Bobbi Brown slap.

I am not an old age pensioner who needs patronising.

You, on the other hand, looked no more than 24 and needed a slap.

OP posts:

On reflection, however, you should get over yourself. Maybe she thought you were a pensioner? I thought people in their 40s were when I was that age

Love it and yes so true!! I remember when I started working in London I was 19 and my boss was 36...I thought she was so over the hill!!

Oh and my love YABVVVU!

candytuft63 · 19/07/2012 14:40

Would Liz Jones troll along to Superdrug ?
Hmm

cocolepew · 19/07/2012 14:41

Leave Superdrug alone, you nasty people. My one is great, much more make-up in it than Boots, and not all of it is glittery.

Just enough.

suburbandream · 19/07/2012 14:41

You should use the self-checkouts next time, my love.

MorrisZapp · 19/07/2012 14:41

My dad's mate is as arsey as you. He orders his pizza to be delivered to 'Doctor Williams'.

He isn't fashionable though. He thinks Bobbi Brown plays for Spurs.

JodieHarsh · 19/07/2012 14:41

Well I've got three degrees and wouldn't dream of writing for anything so poorly paid as a mere broadsheet, and I adore being called my love. Also sweetheart, darling (with or without the 'g'), miduck, dear, dearie, and any other harmless endearment that might come to mind.

Can't be Jiz Loans though - isn't she fifty something by now?

TheVermiciousKnid · 19/07/2012 14:42

You are right, yellowraincoat. Maybe my brain is being fried a bit after all! Grin

However, on second thoughts, that poster makes the same mistakes as the OP with comma spacing etc...

JenaiMarrHePlaysGuitar · 19/07/2012 14:42

I thought Bobbi Brown was married to Whitney Houston.

And I like glittery make up.

JodieHarsh · 19/07/2012 14:42

Arf @ Bobbi Brown playing for Spurs Grin

Hang on - is BB aspirational now? Confused

BupcakesandCunting · 19/07/2012 14:43
BupcakesandCunting · 19/07/2012 14:44

Bobbi Brown make-up is so Year 2K, babes.

LineRunner · 19/07/2012 14:44

I'm still hurting inside from do you want a bag you cunt. Grin Finding it hard to move on from that ...

Latonia · 19/07/2012 14:45

YABU

I'm retired and don't wish to be patronised by anyone.

You get my first ever {biscuit] because you're so up yourself.

SoleSource · 19/07/2012 14:45

PMSL Bups

Latonia · 19/07/2012 14:46

Damn that should be Biscuit

cocolepew · 19/07/2012 14:47

Well, I've got an album by The Three Degrees and you can call me whatever you like.

FatherHankTree · 19/07/2012 14:48

I feel for you OP. I was called 'my lover' once, and I was wearing a hoodie with the name of the RG university I graduated from. This was a few years ago and it still hurts.

LineRunner · 19/07/2012 14:49

A little man from the village once failed to use my correct title.

And what's with the scythe?

JenaiMarrHePlaysGuitar · 19/07/2012 14:52

Hank, they probably didn't understand the significance of the RG thing. You have to cut people some slack occasionally.

SoleSource · 19/07/2012 14:53

Robert Gordon?

JenaiMarrHePlaysGuitar · 19/07/2012 14:54

See!

WorraLiberty · 19/07/2012 14:55

Yes my love

This sort of thread is just what the name change function is for isn't it? Hmm

cocolepew · 19/07/2012 14:56

Silly, RG is Really Good.

yellowraincoat · 19/07/2012 14:57

RG = Russell Group, but as an Aberdonian, I also think Robert Gordon when I see RG.

Or as we kindly knew it as snobby educationalist teens "Bobby G's School for the Stupid".

I was laughing on the other side of my face when I got a 2.2.

JenaiMarrHePlaysGuitar · 19/07/2012 14:58

Unless it's a northern university, in which case it's Right Good.
