To ask you to hold my hand as I'm shitting myself.

Have name changed for this.

I had a mammogram last week and have been recalled for 'further investigations' and I am absolutely shitting myself now. Appointment is for Friday but I feel sick just thinking about it. There is a high breast cancer rate in my family and I'm so scared of something happening and me not being able to see my kids grow up, be there for them. They're only young and they need me.

Yes this is a self pitying post but I'm scared. Sad

Am glad everything is ok Smile

I've been in your situation. Fortunately it was OK. The mammogram showed something not quite right, I had an USS and the man found something that looked like a slug.
I was panicking like a panicky thing. I had to take my DD to the appt with the consultant, we sat in the waiting room with me imagining all sorts - aspiration especially.
The consultant didn't find the slug like thing again, despite a lot of USS wand passing over the spot.
Mine had gone and DD was none the wiser.
Fingers crossed for a positive outcome for you. In the unlikely event that there is something sinister, BC is very treatable.

Great news. You must be so relieved.

Don't give yourself a hard time for panicking, anyone would have been worried.

Wishing you a very happy weekend.Smile

That's great news!

I've just finished my treatment for breast cancer, I was diagnosed when I was ony 27. I know everything is ok with you, but for what it's worth, when I went for tests I just KNEW what it was.
