To say that surely there is better news than Claire Richards in grey skinny jeans?

Give the girl a break! and the pictures in the mail look like they've airbrushed her bottom half to make her look bigger.

She is a very attractive girl, that weight isn't healthy though.

My experience of fat/overweight people who say "It doesn't matter...I'm happy like this", is that what they're saying is they've given up the fight - not that they're actually happy.

If they could swallow one safe wonder pill and wake up slim, I'm quite sure they'd be happy to take it.

But sometimes giving up the fight does actually make people happy...not the actual weight if that makes sense.

I am NOT happy being very overweight but I try everyday to do something about it. I did belong to a BBW group and nobody enjoyed being overweight there either.

She is fat, she is pretty, and those jeans look bloody awful on her. A pair of tailored trousers would make her look much much better.

Claire said in an interview that she comes on to mn. I thought she looked bigger than she has done but kind of average weight wise in the pictures.

It is hard though when you are a larger woman, squeaky said she would look better in tailored trousers which is probably true but you've got to dress down sometimes so what do you wear then? I have this problem myself.

I think Claire always had to battle her weight even when she appeared v skinny. She is also naturally bottom heavy (so why she'd wear grey skinny jeans and flat boots gawd only knows!) at what ever size. Yep, she has piled on the pounds but she is v good looking and also can actually sing.
Which LSL "I look like I have a bad smell under my nose and have no talent whatsoever" can only dream about.

I think from the waist up she looks great, she has a lovely face & smile...those jeans just don't do her any favours especially in that colour.

If they were darker/black it would 'minimise' things a bit.
She looks good in the last photo, the dress is much more flattering on her than the jeans.

Wow cannot believe how much she's changed size-wise since that photo from 1996!

She is beautiful, but most definitely an obese woman...that is not meant as a bitchy comment, it is the truth. Whether the daily bigot should run an article on it with lots of pics is another story...

She is very, very pretty and was the best singer in Steps by a country mile. She is fat though and judging from the "Slave to food" program she did a while ago has some serious issues with yo yo dieting.

I don't get why "fat" is so offensive. She is fat. That matter covering her bones and muscles is fat - scientific term!

I'm also surprised at the choice of outfit, it is quite simply horrendous! A boot cut or relaxed fit denim would look so muh better. About 0.01% of the worlds population can pull off skinny jeans.

And I say all this as a fat, size 16 (dropped from a size 20) myself.
