Bit of a cheek maybe since I'm new around here but I really have taken an irrational dislike to it. I think it's becasue its a take off of another logo and so not original. When it was first used the joke was probably quite funny, but now...

It doesn't help that I've spent long minutes gazing at it while waiting for pages to load. Is Mumsnet always this slow?

Northlight, don't be scared! (but The First Rule of MN, Never Start a Thread in AIBU..) My pc is old and crap and we're on TalkTalk which is also crap, so I spend a lot of time waiting for pages to upload too. I tend to play SpiderSolitaire while waiting rather than gaze vacantly at the screen though.

They should have a 'design a new logo' competition. We could all draw lovely pictures, with nice neat colouring. MN could post them all and we choose a winner. Winner also gets a new car. And a dog.
