I didn't see it to start with, then after a few episodes of his first series of Doctor Who I had an utterly filthy dream about him and haven't been able to look at him the same since

I remember watching the whole "revealing the next Doctor" special, and when they announced it was him DH and I were outraged. Too young. Too weird looking - it just wasn't going to work. I had my heart set on Patterson Joseph.

Then we watched his first episode and he was incredible. When he gave his "I'm the Doctor. Basically; run" speech to the Atraxi I was all "Yeah you are!" He is, quite simply, outstanding. Smith > Ecclestone > Tennant.

I keep telling anyone who will listen that if my science teacher had looked like Brian Cox then I would have been way more interested in the subject
