Does anyone on here think that 81 missed calls in less than two hours is far far too many at nearly one AM from the same person you told you were going to bed three hours ago, and still ringing!!! I have told them to let me sleep BTW.

Another strong vote for informing the police. I had to do this last year - a WPC came round, took details, and phoned the offending person leaving him in no doubt that if he contacted me again, it would be taken further. Although he did then text to say he had received the police warning and wouldn't contact me again ........

Policewoman was very supportive.

Lady that made me laugh! At least it worked though.

Op he sounds unhinged, hope you get something sorted.

How are things this morning? Have you told the Police? What have they said?

TheHappyHissy · 12/07/2012 13:01

You need to call the Police. Call 101 and tell them what has happened. Let THEM decide what needs doing. Let them handle it.

Don't WHATEVER YOU DO answer or reply to any of his calls.

i would get a new number if I were you, I would delete my FB and open up a new one and warn all your old friends to set their privacy to MAXIMUM, and not to accept any Friend Requests from anyone they don't know.

To clarify. Calling the police is not JUST about dealing with this guy, it's about making a paper trail.

Either for YOU, in case he does something silly (possible) or if he does this AND WORSE to someone ELSE (highly probable)

Let the police tell you that it's not worth their time (they won't, they really WILL take this seriously)

I reported a guy earlier this year for a lot less and the Hampshire Police took it very seriously.

I have an officer coming round, today i left my phone off, got an old one out the drawer, bought a sim and gave my number to the very very few who need it!

MyLittleMiracles, did you call the police today?

WhereYouLeftIt · 12/07/2012 21:50

Oops, x-post Blush. Well done MyLittleMiracles.

Thumbwitch · 13/07/2012 04:07

Thank goodness! I hope the police take your phone and track him down - give him a fright!

You can also set your fb on the most private settings so that no one can see our profile pic, friends or even add you as a friend.

I do this because of my job and it's always worked well, good luck OP.
