OK, I am usually not robust enough for AIBU and don't venture over here, but I think this will get more traffic so here goes!

Have pcos, ovulated for the first time in years this month (confirmed by blood test). My period should have come any time between today and five days ago.

Have POAS every day in the last five days and am still testing BFN.

You have to have a period if you've ovulated and are not pregnant, right?

Is it possible that I am pregnant, even though I used those First Response things?

I had already written off this cycle, but now have renewed hope!!

"Birds I am pcos, so perhaps that's why? although I ov I just won't get a period"

You need to be dicussing this with the hospital. My DD has bleeds but no ovulation. My SDD had ovulation but no periods, after six months they took her in for a full scrape out etc and since then she has had a higher ovulation rate, but still not complete periods, or on a longer cycle. She has been told that pregnacy can still happen, she is using contraception.

My friends are all ovulating (peri/menopause) but no periods.

When I suffered badly from PCOS I used to have a period every 2-3 months.

They are not connected to happen one after the other, and sometimes the hormonal imbalance can affect losing the lining of the womb.

usually bleed 14 days after ovulation i think. BFP's can be slow - tescos own are really sensitive and cheap tests

Thank you very much everyone :)
