here

I mean, really ? Maybe the man in the picture is not her husband because he certainly doesn't look like the sort of man that other women would be queuing up to steal

OP posts:
PomBearWithAnOFRS · 10/07/2012 09:07

I reckon the Liz Jones is getting ready to be sacked retire to her country pile and wee herself while smelling of cats, and La Brique is her replacement Mad Woman in the DM Attic.

PomBearWithAnOFRS · 10/07/2012 09:07

"the Liz Jones"? Hmm
that Liz Jones...

LimeLeafLizard · 10/07/2012 09:12

Confused about why anyone would choose to view articles by her.

She is obviously an invented persona designed to wind women up.

cory · 10/07/2012 09:13

"And if there are any numbers I don?t recognise, I?ll do what any sane woman should do: I?ll ring up and check exactly who it is.
It?s always a supplier or customer (Pascal is a carpenter), but checking puts my mind at rest."

And I'm sure it does wonders for his business. Hmm

Spatsky · 10/07/2012 09:46

There is no way she's for real.

As for jools Oliver thinking that checking all Jamie's texts and emails makes her laid back ha ha ha (if that bit is true)

lowfatiscrap12 · 10/07/2012 09:52

he's the one who lets her know when he thinks she's put on a few pounds isn't he? because he's trim and toned

PomBearWithAnOFRS · 10/07/2012 10:05

We need to all phone Pascal and enquire about some work we need doing. Then when she phones back we can be all flustered and suspicious to give her something to occupy her day with Grin It would be a kindness, really it would...

Chubfuddler · 10/07/2012 10:06

She's some kind of botnet or whatever they're called created to generate articles so ludicrous everyone clicks in the DM website. Do not play their game.

Chubfuddler · 10/07/2012 10:07

Arf at obelix. Brilliant.

squeakytoy · 10/07/2012 10:08

"the number of texts I have received from my husband during our five years together can be counted on one hand, I know it?s utterly unlikely he?ll be sending text messages to anyone else"

yeah love... course it is...

Although she is so vain that I doubt she thinks her husband would even look at another woman anyway, not when he is married to the stunning vision of beauty that is her... Grin

Too vain to realise that someone is likely to do it, just for the fun of pissing her off because of her arrogant attitude.

Incidentally, I have been married to my husband for ten years, and never felt the need to rifle through his phone or his email, nor him mine. I have on occasion had to look in his phone at his request for something, if he has left his phone at home maybe.

I would say if you are in a relationship where there is no trust, there is no relationship.

ZombieBear · 10/07/2012 10:34

Oh god, yes it's Obelix Grin

She's confused herself with www.asterix.com/encyclopedia/characters/panacea.html

otchayaniye · 10/07/2012 10:41

I'm a journalist and 'irritants', such as the Happy Shopper Liz Jones (Sam Brick), are just the rip-cord you need to pull on a quietish summer news day.

WhereYouLeftIt · 10/07/2012 10:59

I actually feel quite sorry for her. It can't be a nice life, riven with jealousy, convinced your marriage could come tumbling down the second you stop patrolling your husband like a POW camp.

Assuming she is real, of course which is a leetle hard to believe.

manicbmc · 10/07/2012 11:05

I would feel sorry for her what with her seemingly terrible self-esteem issues and a husband who appears to be verging on the side of being EA... but that would require her to stop churning out such utter shite.

Whitershadeofpale · 10/07/2012 11:49

I know someone who's had the misfortune to know her in rl. She's definately real and evidently more foul than she appears in her articles.

manicbmc · 10/07/2012 11:50

How could she be worse?!

elizaregina · 10/07/2012 11:52

definalty when she looks at herself in the mirror and to her man....

lets face it though, if bridget bardot had written that orginal artcile about beauty would she have got the same coverage? probably not....as alot of us cant touch her beauty when young....it was extraordinary...

BUT SAM BRICK? I think thats why it worked - she is just passably pretty...and blonde....but not enough for us all to stand back in wonder at how she can live with such amazingness....again if hubby was a god....there would be no story,

i wonder if tash is stuck on - or he grew it especially...they are problaby having a good laugh at everyone who takes them seriously...

TheSmallClanger · 10/07/2012 11:55

She is projecting her own insecurities about herself and her tweekerish husband on to other women. She knows what he's like and doesn't trust him, but feels better blaming other women for it. In her first, legendary article about how gorgeous she was, she was all about how she flirts with men constantly to get her own way. Now she's condemning others who do the same thing.

I really hope she isn't real.

LentillyFart · 10/07/2012 11:56

There's nothing special about this ghastly waste of skin and hair. The only thing of note that she's done is find out exactly how to wind everyone up to the point of frothing frenzy - she probably learnt at the knee of Liz Jones. In fact, she probably IS Liz Jones.

GemmaPomPom · 10/07/2012 11:59

Actually, I like Liz Jones. I find her articles interesting and I like the fact that she's an animal lover and not afraid to stand up for what she believes in.

She's also a damn sight better looking that Sam the Brick, in spite of the age difference.

freddiefrog · 10/07/2012 12:01

It?s not that I don?t trust my husband, Pascal ? I do. I just don?t trust other women.

LOL. I think Pascal is safe, there can't that many of us who's uncontrollably drop our drawers at the sight of a Village People reject

cocolepew · 10/07/2012 12:01

Samatha Brick, she lives in France you know.

diddl · 10/07/2012 12:06

Yup-of course it would be the woman´s fault, not her husband´s, wouldn´t itHmm

What with him being so drop dead gorgeous...Grin

I mean seriously-she thinks another woman would want to share him/steal him away????!!!

And she thinks that she is gorgeous, but that´s what she ended up with??

Ah well, it some cases, love obviously is deluded blind.

elizaregina · 10/07/2012 12:13
