Never had it before, and thought I'd try it out as I rather like dark chocolate.

But it is the most horrible tasting chocolate I've ever tasted. So sugary, it is even more sugary than Cadbury's milk chocolate (which I love), tastes nothing like chocolate, never mind dark chocolate. And I paid 80p for the bar at the corner shop. I'm craving chocolate as it is that time of the month, so I was desperate for a choc hit, but eewwww.

My chocoholic DS, didn't ask for a second piece either, and he would eat a whole bar of chocolate if i let him.

So AIBU??

Rulebritannia - Pretty sure Bournville has always tasted like that - Kraft haven't changed the recipe. I think it is probably the first dark chocolate that was available in Britain - ever - but you're right - it is ultra sweet and we're used better now (or maybe tastes change). Though I can see the factory out of the window, and it sounds a bit disloyal, I don't really like it either.
And there's only one 'e' in Bournville.
SoleSource - I wonder whether we know you.

PS Hershey chocolate is vile! I think it just a hardened version of plasticine. Tastes that way. Ick.
