If you are ever standing in Comet being persuaded to buy their extended warranty DON'T BOTHER.
I paid not an inconsiderable amount for such a warranty for my washer dryer which subsequently broke down last week.
I have been told that I will have to wait TWO WEEKS for an engineer to come out and the possibly another TWO WEEKS to wait for parts to be ordered and another visit arranged because.....and wait for it.......THEY HAVE MADE THEIR SERVICE ENGINEERS REDUNDANT. ARGGGGH!!!!!!!.
Sorry for all the shouting but I am so angry.
So they have taken my money and now refuse to provide me with a reasonable service.
Customers say they have investigated my complaint but cannot do any more. Great!
I am drowning in washing with 2 DS and a mucky sporty DP.
All I can do is threaten them with the powerful influence of MN to 'out' their appauling service.
