"I understand from the news that the software problem was fixed very quickly but it appears to have taken much longer to deal with the complications that arose from this problem. Now Im obviously very sympathetic with the people who were without cash but surely they dont live from week to week do they? They should always keep some cash in reserve, just a few hundred pounds maybe and also why could they not get cash out on their charge or credit card?"

On another forum I post on. I'm thinking about boycotting it once I've flamed the living daylights out of the poster

How can people be so ignorant of the tight money situation that many people are in?

Hi everyone. I went to my bank and everything seemed ok. Ive paid a cheque in so going to keep an eye on that.
From my local paper.

Transport firm workers sleeping in cars after Nat West howler.
All 60 staff at Steve Prince Transport are yet to recieve their wages which were due last week. The delay in payments has meant many cant even afford to fill up their petrol tanks to drive home at night. The managing director said I cant belive this has been going on for seven days.
Some of my guys are really affected by this and cant even put food on the table.Because they havent been paid last week some of them cannot put petrol in their car so they cant even drive home.

carernotasaint · 27/06/2012 20:35

i meant everything seemed ok with my account. But customers are still experiencing many problems like the one ive posted above.

edam · 27/06/2012 22:26

I'm rich! Not really, just my wages and the payment made on Friday are finally showing, as well as the emergency transfer RBS made of a sum equivalent to my wages... I would be SO tempted to take the whole lot out and run away, if only cash machines didn't have a £200 limit. Grin

I suspect they will be far more efficient at taking the temporary credit out again than they were at paying my wages in...

WhiteWidow · 27/06/2012 22:29

I have a few hundred pounds in a box (I save it there) but I wouldn't expect others to have, I know there's a lot of things people need to buy

bogeyface · 27/06/2012 22:41
