That's about it really. Batman is awesome, superman is an overgrown boyscout, the green lantern is defeated by yellow, and all the flash does is run a bit.

Batman has a cave and a car and gadgets galore! And black is way cooler than the whole red undies over blue leotard look.

Batman is a vigilante. He is driven by the death of his parents and very close to being insane and (I want to say) suicidal, as in he doesn't care if he dies if he takes the villain with him. He is dark, brooding and menacing. He crosses the lines and isn't far off of being a villain himself.

I have to admit it has been a while since I read any of the comics (yes I am a saddo )
