to name and shame the mum who is not nit combing her kids

I am sick of combing nits out my DD's hair, and I know where they are coming from, this mum claims that she treats her kids regularly but you can see the lice from 2 feet away and the kids are absolutely crawling. Every time my kid play with hers she comes back infested and I am sick of it.

Obvious your problem has been (at least) temporarily solved, but I wanted to post anyway.

I once had a major nit infestation. My friends mum noticed and recoiled in horror and came in to see my mum when she dropped me off at home. My mum couldn't see a single one. My friends mum was pointing them out, catching them, showing my mum what the eggs look like - my mum couldn't see a thing.

I used nit shampoo as we did our best with a comb, but I would never know whether I had them unless I asked my friends mum. My mum would look and say there weren't any, but she just couldn't see them :(

I'm not saying this is the case in the instance, or in every other instance, but a nit infested child isn't always negligence by the mother. My mum genuinely couldn't see the buggers.

Feel so sorry for the kids. Could their teacher have a chat with her?

One of my major worries is getting knits when my DD goes to school 3.3 years away yet. I have hair extensions and would be near impossible to get them out.
