Marilyn was on heavy duty drugs, alcohol, multiple partners, no family support. She had sparkle lacking in today's starlets. She was a star.

LL is not a star she is a starlet. She is however a very good actress indeed, this has been eclipsed by really nasty stories people are believing. She pissed some major players in Hollywood off it started years ago. She is indeeed very beautiful ( i have seen her in the flesh) with actually much more delicate features than LT who was a strong, earthy in your face beauty.

Weel, LL has a long road ahead of her. But how can she operate as an actress successfully (or even as an individual) when she sabotages herself time and again? She is judged on her private behaviour and it does impact on her credibility as an actress. she also comes across as a bit desperate, possibly no surprise given her families behaviour past and present.
as for her face, she has mangled it to my eye. It is an actors tool and she has not cared for it sufficiently. Why would a young woman have botox?

Was MM an actress? Not sure, but she certainly had something that came over on screen. I love watching her and feel so happy watching her, but LL makes no impression on me. Entirely forgetable.

When Liz Taylor, Marilyn and all the other infamous stars of that era were in their heyday, there was no internet, and gossip and scandal cost them their careers, so it was kept hushed up, and saved for their biographies.

I doubt they were any better behaved than many of todays celebrities, as the media power was not as strong then, and much was covered up by the studios.

I am not really bothered what LL takes/drinks/behaves i just think she is a bit forgettable and doesnt have a striking look about her seems she has taken the job because she is unemployed and probably came cheap for the tv company isnt she supposed to be playing linda lovelace as well ?
