The choice in supermarkets is always so much better for B&J then it is HD. I love HD's Chocolate Midnight Cookies which I have only ever found in Blockbuster stores.

Best ice-cream ever is Cream of Galloway (made near Gatehouse of Fleet in Scotland). Sadly not stocked near us so I only get to eat it when visiting the in-laws

Far prefer HD to Ben & Jerrys. When I want ice cream I actually want the ice cream, not ice cream plus tons of choc bits that spoil the blood flavour.

HD is owned by General Mills, Nestle produce it on licence for the US & Canada.

YANBU! I LOVE B & J's but the only problem is that they discontinue flavours. Does anyone remember Dublin Mudslide? Or that one that was vanilla-ey with huge chunks of something like fat Dime bars in it?? (dribble). Anyway, half baked is SERIOUSLY good!!

Half-baked is my every day goto choice of flavour :) I can never find the cookie dough one on it's own around here, not sure if it's even available any more

Don't get me wrong - I like Ben & Jerrys, especially the cherry garcia; but...when I pick an ice cream flavour, it's the flavour I want, not the flavour plus chocolate.

HD Baileys is gorgeous, but if it were Baileys plus choc chunks/nibs/chips? Yuck!
