too much chocolate shoved all over the place in B&Js. Hardly any of their flavours don't involve it.
HD pralines and cream RULES

CrownPrincessOhDearNigel · 15/06/2012 20:51

Batman, Waitrose are stocking the Vermonster at the moment

YABU. And you are wrong.

OhNoMyFanjo · 15/06/2012 20:58

Op I hate you, I now want frozen yogurt choc brownie and I've had wine so can't go and get any Angry

FoofFighter · 15/06/2012 21:01

Oh My! Apple Pie, delicious :)
I think half the fun with B&J is the names they give them :)

I wish we had the full range like the in US, just been looking at their flavours and they are awesome Sad

Newbie here - but love my ice cream!
Haagen Dazs isn't owned by Nestle it's General Mills - same company who own Old El Paso & Green Giant Sweet Corn!

BarredfromhavingStella · 15/06/2012 21:06

Bollocks, YA so NBU-Chocolate fudge brownie is king -end of.

HippoPottyMouth · 15/06/2012 21:06

Have you tried the new core berry white??! It's amazing.
Also a big fan of the choc fudge frozen yoghurt.

SauvignonBlanche · 15/06/2012 21:09

YABU, you would have a valid point were it not for Hagen Daaz's Pralines and cream.

ceebeegeebies · 15/06/2012 21:12

YADNBU - B&J's rock Grin

My fave is phish food but also love Chunky Monkey - in fact, when I was pg with DS2, I was obsessed with Chunky Monkey (I like to call it a 'craving' Wink) and ate tons and tons of the stuff. The spooky thing was that DS2 was born by elcs and as the surgeon pulled all 9lb 4oz of him out, the first thing he said was 'ooh this one's a chunky monkey' - me and DH looked at each other like this --> Shock

OhNoMyFanjo · 15/06/2012 21:14

Yay dh is going to go and gets some Grin

HerMajestyQueenHillyzabethII · 15/06/2012 21:15

YABVVU. Ben and Jerry;s is way too sweet - always - and some of the flavours a just silly. It's ice cream for children. HD is ice cream for grown ups. the texture is better, not too sweet and the flavours are classic - not silly.

hattymattie · 15/06/2012 21:16

Another vote for Pralines and Cream here - (or if that's out of stock Macamada nut brittle) Smile yum; What's more just finished a bowl.

Clawdy · 15/06/2012 21:16

Nooo! Kelly's is the best!! You could eat it forever....

HerMajestyQueenHillyzabethII · 15/06/2012 21:16

Oh and I can't stand Carte D'Or either.

Meglet · 15/06/2012 21:17

YANBU. Haagen Dazs is too sensible and grown up for me. Same goes for 'no fun' Magnums. Give me a Nobbly Bobbly or a Feast any day.

FoofFighter · 15/06/2012 21:17

SB1971 yes it is owned by Neslte just googled it.

Ceebee that's a bit woo! Shock

Hippo - Berry White is next on my list, love the name of it
ONMF- you like me again now then? Grin

HD is better. It is....silkier. Strawberry cheesecake is divine.

SB1971 · 15/06/2012 21:21

Oh ok - not in the UK it isn't!

LaurieFairyCake · 15/06/2012 21:24

They're both awful to me now - cheap tasting and overly sweet, and I used to LOVE them.

I went to the Good Food show on Wednesday in Birmingham at the NEC and had some artisan ice cream from 'Rachels' - sloe gin and blackberry - I died and went to orgasm heaven.

And every year I get to Roskillys in Cornwall - best ice cream in the universe.

TheThingUpstairs · 15/06/2012 21:25

YANBU, B&J is much nicer than HD.

laluna · 15/06/2012 21:32

Yanbu - phish food all the way

Pedallleur · 15/06/2012 21:33

It's just nice ice-cream made in a factory (I've been). Generally over-priced and I could find you better in the Italian cafe nr.me (home made)

mamalovesmojitos · 15/06/2012 21:37

Ceebee Grin.

Op YADNBU. Cookie dough, phish food, choc fudge brownie - all so addictive. The peanut butter one sounds gorgeous.
