to think that David Cameron is an utter, utter twat

Ok, full disclosure, I'm a (c/C)onservative.

That said, David Cameron is so utterly fucking ghastly.

Just listening to the news and he was refuting claims by Gordon Brown that a deal had been done with News International. Cameron said something like 'He's just saying that because he's jealous that the Sun deserted him', and there was just something about his tone that made me think 'you are a twat'

And it's not because he's posh, I don't have a problem with posh politicians, it's the Ruperts I don't like.

No better than Blair.

Any of their past leaders would be better.

YANBU

He's an utter cock.

Coudn't run a piss up n a brewery.

TheMysteryCat · 14/06/2012 22:45

menzies campbell would have got my vote... lots of respect for him.

i think labour should have an older/more experienced leader at the moment, as all these professional politicians with no life experience to speak of are a total waste of space. however, old labour probably means blairites and that won't sit well either.

I shorten my name. Does that make me a smug cunt?

thebody · 14/06/2012 23:07

Agree amicassima and lentilly fart,, hate smug preposterous liberals far worse,, my dsis is one and lived in Peckham to ' emerge herself in multiculturalism' after doing this for a while she moved to rural Kent!!!

She is a card carrying member of labour party and has the laughable innocence of earning shed loads of cash and going abroad 4,times a year but can't understand why we cant afford to so lives in la la land. Love her to bits though.

At last with Tories u know where you are and they don't pretend to care( not for for long anyway)

Tony Benn a complete tit head, he evicted a homeless tramp from his garden, very socialist.

limitedperiodonly · 14/06/2012 23:24

poulay Has this just dawned on you?

What do you think of Workfare?

ComposHat · 14/06/2012 23:44

That'll be the guy who pretends not to really be Anthony Wedgewood Benn?

Wedgewood is his middle name and not a double-barrelled surname, you fool. Do you routinely refer to yourself by your first and middle names?

So using an well-known dimunitive of your first name and your surname makes you a cunt then does it?

Well if that is the case, wrap me in clingfilm, spank me with a wet flipflop and call me Mr Cuntychops, cos I do exactly the same thing.

Poulay · 14/06/2012 23:47

People take the piss out of George Osborne for being ridiculously posh, but when they take the piss out of the main reason is that he's a twat. IMO anyway.

take the piss out of 'DC' that should read.

YABU. I actually like him. Ed Miliband on the other hand I cannot stand!

MarySA · 15/06/2012 00:08

I didn't mind him at first. But now I totally loathe him and can't bear to hear his voice or see his smug face on TV. He has become a total and absolute pain in the neck. Even Ed Milliband is a lot more bearable these days in comparison.

Poulay · 15/06/2012 00:08

I think Wedgwood is a bit more than just a middle name.

His grandfather was Sir John Benn, 1st Baronet, and his second son (Tony Benn's father) was christened William Wedgwood Benn, the Wedgwood coming from Josiah Wedgwood, the founder of the pottery company, grandfather of Charles Darwin, and slavery abolitionist.

William Wedgwood Benn's children were:
Michael Julius Wedgwood Benn killed in WW2
Anthony Neil Wedgwood Benn (Tony Benn)
David Julian Wedgwood Benn (still alive)

Tony Benn's children are:
Stephen Michael Wedgwood Benn
Hilary James Wedgwood Benn
Joshua William Wedgwood Benn
Melissa Ann Wedgwood Benn

He was also previously known as Anthony Wedgwood Benn, when he first entered politics, and his brother still styles himself David Wedgwood Benn.

As I said earlier, I hate David Hameron in all his twattish glory, but I'm also not a fan of Osbourne, Clegg or Milliband and am in fact sceptical about anyone who wants to run the country.

But... who does mn think should be running the country. Apparently not Tony Benn, Blair was just shameful, he will never (and rightly so) escape from the Iraq debacle, but who is the ideal?

Obviously it depends where your loyalties lie in terms of ideology somewhat but I just wonder who is the kind of person we want?

ComposHat · 15/06/2012 00:23

Poulay Generations of the male members of our family have got the middle name 'John' after a long dead Uncle. Doesn't make it a double barrelled surname.

If you check the register of births, Wedgewood is listed under the section for first names, not surname.

If further confirmation is needed. Last paragraph.

David Cameron looks like a piss-poor middle manager who has somehow bumbled into the role of prime minister and is bluffing his way through the job while waiting for someone with proper authority to step back in and answer the questions.

Like when he had to ask his wife how often they saw Brooks. FFS. All the stuff about how he spends all day playing fruit ninja would explain how woefully under-prepared he seems all the time.

lecce · 15/06/2012 08:12

He is a complete and utter twat and any other name you care to call him. His rolled-up-sleeves-call-me-dave persona is vile and totally fake anyway, as he reveals every week on PM questions when he makes snappy, sarky comments to anyone who riles him (easily done), including those from his own party.

The comparisons with Blair are laughable - he is like a knock-off version of him, trying to copy his style and spin everything but being utterly incompetent and surrounding himself with other twats - either incompetents or liars and so failing miserably.

I feel embarrassed that he is our PM.

Also, while I agree that this generation of career politicians is not very inspiring, I do get sick of the 'they're all the same,' mantra. Just look at some of the policies this bunch have introduced and compare them to Labour's early policies - there is no comparison. The latest ruse is to change the definition of poverty in order to hide the fact that so many children who Labour lifted out of poverty are now sliding back in. Bastards Angry. They are not all the same - though I do wish the current Labour lot would do more to challenge them - they should be eating them alive they're so useless.

hackmum · 15/06/2012 09:03

Cameron is a PR man at heart, isn't he? All show and no substance. He also seems to have quite a nasty streak to him.

And is there anyone who genuinely believes him when he says the Tories didn't do a deal with Murdoch?

perceptionreality · 15/06/2012 20:45
